Zhangmau to Africa

There exists a story,
Waiting to be born,
Of us, the humans we are
Kicks in, this binding effect
From sheets made of paper
Stitched, with kindness and care
With needle, of our thoughts
In existence and in its hours
Remains in us, the old desire
To create these mosaics,
Of embroidery and emotion
Stand there in silence, few
For warmth and for comfort
Outside, these bookshops
Of attraction and surveillance
As they disappear in light
Only the windows can hear,
The characters and their screams
From Zhangmau to Africa
There exists a story
Waiting to be born!
