In his bid to secure his position more with the Americans and also to get more aid and alms, Asif Ali Zardari is happy to part with even the last straws of our sovereignty and while he is at it, he is letting go of the Kashmir cause, nuclear assets and the claim of Pakistan on the occupied Kashmir.
Asif Ali Zardari has said that he considers the freedom fighters of Kashmir same as the Al Qaeda militants in the tribal region of Pakistan, and he wants to share the intelligence with America and India, and he wants to do cooperate with anyone who is ready to fight the terrorism. President Asif Ali Zardari termed the Hurriat leaders in occupied Kashmir as “terrorists”, adding that he had no objection to the India-US nuclear cooperation pact so long as Islamabad was treated “at par” with New Delhi in a press release.
Asif Ali Zardari has also said,“I am not going to fall for this position that it’s an unpopular thing to be an American friend and an Indian friend. I am an American friend and a friend of India.”
The assassinated wife of Asif Ali Zardari, the Benazir Bhutto was also very keen in having a friendship with India, and she even gave away the lists of Sikhs to the India which ended the Khalistan movement by Sikhs in the Indian Punjab, and which enabled India to focus solely in quashing the freedom struggle of the Kashmiris. Now Zardari is following the footprints of his late wife with extreme vigor.
Next, may be we would be listening to the suggestion by Zardari to have common currency, common president and common cricket team with India. And then latter on, a federated sub-continent once again. Who knows? Quaid-e-Azam must be turning in his grave.

Hi rohail,
If you help Khalistanies to kill Indians, then it is great but Indians must not help baloachs or MQM in retaliation?Your nation will sign a Shimla agreement but just because you had a licking in 1971, you must take revenge at all cost but India must not respond.
You had parity with India not on your Own but with help from china and USA. We have fallen in the lap of USA and your options are only China but it has found in a trade of $35 Billion with India as lucrative.Saudi Arabia which says your nation is a brother has PROHIBITED ITS NATIONALS TO TRAVEL TO PAKISTAN BUT NOT TO INFIDEL INDIA!! Of course it gifted recently 250 tons of dates!

J&K militants are terrorists, says Zardari

NEW DELHI: In a statement which has warmed the cockles of Indian hearts as much as it has created a ruckus in his own country, Pakistan president As
if Ali Zardari has described militants operating in J&K as “terrorists”. ( Watch )
This is the first time a top Pakistani leader has dared to state this in public and vindicate the stand of the Indian establishment.
While New Delhi is still wondering about the real power centre (government, ISI or army) in Pakistan, senior government officials nonetheless seemed delighted with Zardari’s interview to Wall Street Journal in which he also said that Pakistan did not look upon India as a threat.
“India has never been a threat to Pakistan. I, for one, and our democratic government is not scared of Indian influence abroad,” Zardari said in the interview.
“Whatever the situation in Pakistan, Zardari is the leader of his country and it is important for us that he makes the right noises. He seemed very positive in New York too when he met PM Manmohan Singh and promised to eliminate terror. This statement actually signals a shift in Pakistan’s stand,” said a senior South Block official.
Even earlier, Zardari as PPP chief had said that relations between the two countries should not be held hostage to the Kashmir issue and the latest remark is likely to send his popularity in India soaring.
Pak has no objection to India-US N-Pact
Replying to a question, Zardari said he had no objection to the India-US nuclear cooperation pact so long as Pakistan is treated “at par”.
“Why would we begrudge the largest democracy in the world getting friendly with one of the oldest democracy,” added Zardari, who is being widely castigated for his remarks in his own country.
Zardari also spoke positively about a free trade agreement with India, stating that he wanted better ties with India. “There is no other economic survival for nations like us. We have to trade with our neighbours first.”
