Zardari: Criminal, Fraud, Third Rater: Declares Musharraf
By Rohail Butt • Nov 9th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 14 CommentsPresident Asif Ali Zardari gave away guard of honor to the former dictator Pervez Musharraf and ensured his safe exit from Pakistan and gone extra miles to protect the Musharraf legacies like NRO, Justice Dogar and Q League, but Musharraf is not that much happy with his successor and has called him names.
Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has given an interview to journalist Seymour Hersh, the man who relishes slinging mud at Pakistan, the man who hullacinates about Pakistan Nuclear program and the man who is probably on the payroll of anti-Pakistan forces.
In this interview, Musharraf has called President Zardari as “criminal”, a “fraud” and a “third rater”. He said, ‘Asif Zardari is a criminal and a fraud. He’ll do anything to save himself. He’s not a patriot and he’s got no love for Pakistan. He’s a third-rater’.”
He also said that he is in touch with the current army chief Kayani. Now what does that imply?

Why would you say these things Mr. Musharraf? Are you now not doing Pakistan bashing? Zardari has not troubled you or your family, why are you going out of tour way to slander the President of Pakistan?
Disappointed.
Pres. Musharraf shouldn’t have passed such a comment against the current democratically President. Its regrettable!
Musharaff also said ISI is having links and connections with various terrorists groups like LET,Lashkhar Jhangvi, sipahi sabha,Brigade 313 etc to have control over them. What a laugh
Musharraf aand altaf hussain have same IQ level. After one year of playing bahi bahi game now they realized what actually he is.
I think we have better political approach then these leaders who are still on firm stand for him as we conceived in bhutto’s time.
Johhane
this was same ISI that worked under him with all such actualities.
Once he led them as COAS and President of Pakistan
so why not India dare to blame him directly instead of inviting him to hear musical nights in India.
Roumours does not make any sense? When this interview happen. Find the source GEO TV, and then Pakistan Link and all the Indian Newspaper quoting Pakistan Link. Get the DATE and time from Newyork Times if and when this interview happen.. Again its a good Strategy to Malign a sitting President in Foreign press.
Hi nazia,
Most of the Generals and Brass of Army whether in Pakistan or India or elsewhere in world get orgasm by hearing their OWN VOICES. See Musharaff was thinking he was fooling Indians and Americans but Indians knew what he is thinking and doing while Americans WANTED to be fooled. You see Indians love the PAKISTANI BRASS because they lost East in 1971 and Siachen during islamic Zia.Musharaff would have lost balochistan for us but this 10% Zardari is wily guy and saved it for you. Hope Kiyani takes over soon as wanted by USA and we may have balochistan!!!!!
Indian and Pakistani Woodpeckers arguing
An Indian woodpecker and a Pakistani woodpecker were arguing about which place had the toughest trees. The Indian woodpecker claimed India had a tree that no woodpecker could peck. The Pakistani woodpecker accepted his challenge and promptly pecked a hole in the tree with no problem. The Indian woodpecker was amazed.
The Pakistani woodpecker then challenged the Indian woodpecker to peck a tree in Pakistan that was absolutely “im-peckable” (a term woodpeckers like to use). The Indian woodpecker expressed confidence that he could do it and accepted the challenge. The two flew to Pakistan where the Indian woodpecker successfully pecked the so-called “im-peckable” tree almost without breaking a sweat.
Both woodpeckers were now terribly confused. How is it that the Pakistani woodpecker was able to peck the Indian tree, and the Indian woodpecker was able to peck the Pakistani tree, yet neither was able to peck the tree in their own country?
After much woodpeck pondering, they both came to the same conclusion: Apparently, your pecker gets harder when you’re away from home
Our army men work on the pondering conclusions of wood peckers.
There is nothing confusion in pecking phenomena as both India and Pakistan have same geochemistry and their wood peckers are natural inhabitants of this same echo system.
It is not matter of acting harder while away from home it is one’s passion , emotion and professional skills that activate under strain jobs.Who are able to control such parameters become conqueror of his/her field.
Hi Om,
that was good one. LOL
lolz..a traitor, tyrant and goldigger is calling Asif Zardari a fraud..hey lady musharrf go and ask ur father america to make Pakistan’s president again..musharraf was a chor and bhagooda..
Economy
In 1999, under Nawaz Sharif, Revenue generation of around Rs.308 billion could not meet the growing expenditure requirements; with only an average of Rs.80 billion being spent on Public sector development programs (PSDP) annually, and no visible project to boast about. From this Rs.308 billion around 65% was being utilized for debt servicing. In 1988 Pakistan’s foreign debt was $18 billion, but at the end of 1999 it had accumulated to become $38 billion. A 100% increased burden on the already crippled economy. Public and external debt exceeded 300% of Foreign exchange earnings.[44]
Musharraf then appointed Shaukat Aziz, a former Citibank executive, as finance minister. Profile: Shaukat Aziz - BBC News
Pakistan’s Economic Comparison 1999 to 2007
Pakistan’s economy grew by 100% — to become $ 160 billion
Revenue grew by 100% — to become $ 11.4 billion
Per Capita income grew by 100% — to become $ 925
Foreign Reserves grew by 500% — to become $ 17 billion
Exports grew by 100% — to become $ 18.5 billion
Textile exports grew by 100% — to become $ 11.2 billion
Karachi Stock Exchange grew by 500% — to become $ 75 billion
Foreign Direct Investment grew by 500% — to become $ 8.4 billion
Annual Debt servicing decreased by 35% — to become 26%
Poverty decreased by 10% — to become 24%
Literacy ratio grew by 10% — to become 54%
Public development Funds grew by 100% — to become Rs 520 billion[45][46][47][48][49][50]
The vision and policies helped Pakistan come out of the list of Highly Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) while setting it on path of prosperity, growth and economic reforms. The world financial institutions like the World Bank[51] and IMF[52] and ADB[53] have been praising Pakistan for its reforms, fiscal policies and macro-economic achievements.
I dont know why v people said the stupid things which is not even close to the reality…… seriously brother in my opinion Musharraf was the only leader v got after the zulfiqar bhutto……..
if some 1 wants any comparison b/w him and zardari ot yousaf….. jsut c that both our current higher official leaders are not even able to speech without having any written material provided by their speech writers….hahahahaha
sorry every 1 but i only can laugh on our allpolicitical leaders …………..
these leaders proud on this that how many days v spend in jail…… for their political point scoring they use this line…….
what else do every 1 want to check their caliber……
everyone here must C the ground realities
sugar mills are owned by nawaz, shahbaz, hamza shabaz, shujaat, etc
these all r our democratic leaders……….
think all dese kind of things b4 talking against Musharrraf,,,,,,,,,,
he is and was the best LEADER v got after Quid and Bhutto
If Musharraf called democratically elected President as criminal and fraud then it is regretful and condemnable. He must look into his own deeds and the mess he created in Pakistan. But there are lots of misinterpretation about what Musharraf said in his interview as one of his advisor said that Musharraf’s interview has been overstated. Since the sources which quoted these lines are not authentic. Hersh is known for writing anti-Pakistan stories as his recent story regarding Pakistan Nuclear arsenal was also been rejected by U.S. U.S embassy denies Hersh story. I don’t find anything competent whatever he quoted in his story regarding President Zardari. It is a conspiracy against Pakistan.
I totally agree with Yawar.
All these type of comments like Idrees said about Musharaf,” He must look into his own deeds and the mess he created in Pakistan. But there are lots of misinterpretation about what Musharraf said in his interview as one of his advisor said that Musharraf’s interview has been overstated”.
What the mess he has created for us.You may be be thinking the current position (terrorism and other economical issues) of Pakistan is due to Musharaf. At least you can think the nine eleven incident. Is Musharaf is the responsible of this incident???Not exactly ,there are other factors.
If nine eleven was in some one else era’s then there should be definitely a war against . But now there is a war in Pakistan with out any incident. This is what our Democratic Leader, The President Mr.10% done for us .At least we should condemn him(Mr.10%). We should shame ourselves to say Zardari (Mr.10%) is our President.
It is the Musharaf who save Pakistan. Still there are peoples, who are criticizing Musharaf IQ level.
Moreover what Zardari has done for us in his more than one year .Not a single mega project has been started. What he has started is Benazir fund and these type of projects ,these projects make people mendicant.
So for as Balochistan is concerned, What Musharaf can do more for Balochistan, he has initialized a mega project of Guador port for them , what our Democratic President Mr.10% done for Balochistan .
Not any body is perfect in this world now.Every person have pros also some cons. But we can’t D grade Musharaf on the basis a few wrong decisions .He has also done great work for Pakistan.
As Yawar mention “Musharraf was the only leader v got after the Zulfiqar bhutto”.Think your self , “Is Zardari a effective leader for a nation or for a underworld gang ?”
In fact Musharaf is a great Man for Pakistan.
