Why Not FATA Attacks Year Ago?

Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar has assured that the United States had assured Pakistan that it would not violate the country’s territory in future, though it’s another thing that United States doesn’t really care which territory belongs to Pakistan and which not, and in that “utter confusion”, Special Operations’ raid from Afghanistan into Pakistan are on the rise and they will only surge.

United States is now fully focusing on the FATA area and now gathering up maximum of the CIA agents into and in the surrounding areas of the tribal region, including the Swat area, and covertly they are also getting the help of Indian and Afghan secret agencies. The US intelligence community already had approval from President Bush to carry out operations inside Pakistan, including attacks by Predator drones, which can carry 100-pound Hellfire missiles.

NPR radio of United States has also revealed the facts about the last week United States attack in Angor Adda, Waziristan.  According to NPR, he raid last week by an elite US Navy SEAL team was a planned operation that took place miles inside Pakistan and led to the deaths of at least nine and as many as 20 individuals — some of them civilians. Sources said the raid was part of a “snatch and grab” operation aimed at Taliban or Al Qaeda figures. A powerful AC-130 gunship, essentially a flying battleship, was used in the operation. The SEAL team members were flown out of Pakistan by helicopter into Afghanistan. A western military source said that a SEAL team remained on standby in Afghanistan for similar missions.

NPR, however, noted that some in the US intelligence community and on Capitol Hill were raising questions about the political intent of this new aggressive stance. “The question is,” said one of NPR’s sources, “why wasn’t this done a year ago?” The answer to this question is that one year ago, there were no looming elections in the United States.

The agenda for attacks inside Pakistan is set by OBAMA and Bush has to follow it for the sake of macain.
But the problem for americans is Pakistani Army led by Kiyani and cunning gillani which has orders to resist and shoot the american invaders

There is no doubt that before every election, Americans starts doing such things to impress their public, who least know about rest of the world and totally relies on the news of their government.

General Kiyani is proving himself a perfect commander and his strong stance on the said issue is no doubt compelling US forces to think 100 times before proceeding. Meanwhile this US strategy is good for us in a way that all those who had reservations from our army are gathering at one platform to defend our country. FATA people already have announced full support to the Army and rest of Pakistan. And I know that no body can step inside your territories when whole nation is willing to “do or die”. I am seriously feeling great now a days that we are one and will remain one.

God bless Pakistan and this region.
