Who is Behind Brig Imtiaz ? What’s This Fuss ?

For the last couple of month, there was high talk about the Minus One formula and it was discussed in the powerhouses of Rawalpindi and Islamabad that the time has come for the corrections without destabilizing the system. There exists genuine panic in the President House, as the powers in the country have decided to make the amendments.
Chief Justice of Pakistan has to decide about the NRO and about the trial of Musharraf. President Asif Ali Zardari has to decide about the 17th amendment, which is aimed at clipping his own powers. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is losing his whatever credibility as he has proved so far nothing but rhetoric. Army Chief has shown his professionalism and after winning war in Swat is quite confident and resolved to not to make any coup, but he has his deep eyes on the confused and vision less governance in the country.
The sudden emergence of Brig Imtiaz has benefitted President Zardari, Musharraf and MQM. MQM has got the golden chance to nullify all the charges in one sweeping stroke. They are trying to come out as innocent as newly born. President Zardari team is strengthening their camp in advance in case of any adventure. Indirectly Brig. Imtiaz is also giving bad name to the army, ISI, IB and other agencies. He has said on national TV live that agencies remained involved in distributing public money to the politicians. For example, Brig. Imtiaz confessed that he gave away money to the Sheikh Rashid Ahmad.
That aside, why don’t Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry take suo moto action and ask Brig. Imtiaz that who the hell he was to distribute the national wealth among the politicians?
Well, so who is behind the man? Hussain Haqqani, according to the Talat Hussain of Aaj TV, has boasted in London that it was he who compelled Brig. Imtiaz to off load the weight from “conscience.” As we know that no one in the Pakistan in the politics, judiciary and establishment is angel and everyone has his fair and solid share of follies, blunders, and other crimes. But why Brig. Imtiaz is “exposing” all this is anybody’s guess.
We know that they all are culprits, but we also know that we have only this lot to select from. We have to select on the basis of there near performance, sacrifices and character. This all smearing campaign by Brig. Imitaz is to protect Musharraf and his cronies and his guards in the present setup. This campaign is aimed at those who are dead against the Musharraf.
It’s basically once again between Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif. Zardari doesn’t want to see Musharraf in trouble, whereas Nawaz Shairf want him hanging. MQM is always there to support government and they are getting full advantages for that.

That aside, why don’t Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry take suo moto action and ask Brig. Imtiaz that who the hell he was to distribute the national wealth among thl e politicians?

Brig. Imtiaz was not ISI chief. he was used by ISI heads. How could Iftekhar take suo moto on Imtiaz alone ? Are you in your senses ? and how could you blame Imtiaz in all this story — Its strange to see someone wants CJ to take suo moto against the one who is speaking truth and whose views are being endorsed by all ex Army generals.

If NRO gets scarped, a lot of cases would be reopened, which will put a lot of honest people in a spot of bother.
Brig Imtiaz along with other NROians are now looking to hatch a plan where new NRO would be formulated , this NRO would also include Nawaz Shareef and Musharraf besides others. Then Nawaz Shareef would be advised to remain quite if he wants to avoid jail.
Brig Imtiaz is a direct beneficiary Of NRO-which means he doesnt have an honest past - his “true and honest” confession would seem to help himself the most.
Its up to us to see the link between his confession and his timing.
His “truth” lacks credibility.
Believing Brig Imtiaz is equal to believing Zardari-another NROian. Fortuantely its not difficult to see the truth.

Well….my dear friend, then let’s say that even ISI heads won’t be held accountable for ISI operated under army command and within the politics of political governments. Why load the crap on ISI when we all know it were the political government who always insisted on it’s involvement?
The fact remains that this ghost of the past has come out in a time when Musharraf was about to be tried. What’s more, Mr. Imtiaz barely came up with any credible sources to his claims. I was watching his discussions in a talk-show at ARY news last night and all he could prove was shit - to tell tales from oh-so-unknown books of wanna-be-loud mouths like himself, he isn’t really someone who’s coming forth with a genuine case - rather, I tend to muse myself with the fact that the one who’s been money bags can certainly have some too, right now.

Brig (r) Imtiaz has opened up a Pandora Box and he has made many serious allegations upon many people. One of them is Ghulam Mustafa Khar. Brig Imtiaz has said that Ghulam Mustafa Khar, a founding member of the Pakistan People’s Party and nowadays a political defunct feudal, is a traiter and a RAW agent.
Brig Imtiaz has said that Khar met with some Mr. Joshi who was RAW officer in the London in Indian consulate. He said that Khar promised with the Joshi that he could also break away some army officer. He also said that Khar also met with India premier Indra Ghandi through RAW. Brig Imtiaz has also said that he himself gave away 5 million rupees to the Khar.
Brig Imtiaz says that all this record is with the security agencies. The question is that why Khar was never arrested and tried in the court, military or civil?
Salman I was also watching the same program and the details of Brig Imtiaz has proven everything. He was talking with references not only from ISI but Ms. Tehmeena Durrani too. You could check the tone of Khar too the way he was blabbering and attacking on Imtiaz personally. Brig Imtiaz is just revealing what has happened in past and showing the mirror to those who want Musharraf to be tried. May be a lobby is workin to save Musharraf but what’s the harm in trying EVERYONE ? What’s wrong in exposing the traitors and hypocrites of Pakistan ? Infact you guys should be happy on that fact that along with Musharraf rest of the dirty eggs will also be washed way.
I’m pretty startled at what you hold as a credible enough source. The wife of a politician has a break-up with him and she comes up with a book containing many nasty allegations against her former husband - and you’re calling that a credible enough proof?!? I’m grossly amazed. You know what? If books were to be proofs, I can prove every single person in the history of Pakistan as traitor or something similar. It’s because not every book is considered authentic enough. And I have read Ms. Durrani’s book which lacks any references whatsoever and is just an amalgam of personal tales from her personal lives. To say that such a book could be sued to substantiated so serious an accusation as being called a traitor is…well…a fine joke. That’s all.
As to your proposal that everyone should be tried, why not? I’m certainly in for it. However, money-ing strange guys from the pages of past to come to limelight and say ridiculous things on a media that’s immature to a gross extent, is not really a move which could construct feasible circumstances for such trials. Such a move only will result in at one side, trying to acquit one certain party of all charges held against it, the party being MQM. And at the other, destabilizing the democratic government we have presently. And one ought not to be much surprised since a lot of rumors over the minus-one formula have been circulating for long and it doesn’t come as a sudden move that suddenly someone is out to attack the credibility of the power brokers of current government much more openly and fiercely - thus posing a direct threat to it.

As mqm is all time supporters of above all so they are contributing their share of support as per their capacity while living 6000 km away from here.
Whatever — What I know is Brig. Imtiaz is successfully exposing the traitors and hypocrite politicians who are trying to portray themselves angels today. Not even a single ex- Army General has denied that fact that these politicians were given bribe to make an alliance against the PPP. I don’t understand why Brig. Imtiaz is being hated for speaking truth ?
Brig Imtiaz has come out with lot of revelations regarding formation of IJI and bribing some political leaders for support Apart from its other aspects one fact it bring forth is that Army has been involved in politics On this fact a question which get arise is that on what grounds Army has done so ? Which law or constitutional clause is there which permit it to interfere in politics
Brig Imtiaz revelations may have exposed the role of some politicians however its most sensitive aspect is that Army does interfere in politics Here another question is that can action can be taken against it and if yes by whom ? the civil govt , Parliament or Supreme court ,. If No how this meddling of army in politics can be justified ?

As long as people of karachi (u can say urdu speaking) with MQM. We were with MQM in 1984 ,,we are with them today and we vill be forever,,,,,,,,,,,,in all election MQM clean swept and sucessfully won,,coz of people support,, I myself never been the active activist of MQM and from last 6 year i am in saudi arabia,but twicely visit karachi each year, but i have seen how the people ,,,women,men ,elders,used to come out from their home to cast the vote for MQM,,,,although they curse MQM on several issues but vote always for MQM,,,,,this is fact,,,Only MR Altaf Hussain,MQM party memebers are nothing ,they survive till today despite all resentmnet just coz of the people support,who again n agin sending them to Parliment,,,,,,I remember in early 90s days when Mr ALtaf hussain says ……khamossss(Silent),,,and there was pin drop silence amid thousands of people,,,, wata ez o mantasha wata zillo mantasha,,,whatever the rival says,,but till now GOD confer Mr Altaf Hussain all respect,,,,,He wins MQM wins each time,,,

He is not being hated. He’s simply being looked upon as a guy who’s been paid to say all that.
And the reason is very simple: he hasn’t proved anything yet. Just tell me, how on earth can you drag anyone to the court on the basis of a mention in the book!! And since that’s simply impossible, there’s simply no credibility to all his claims.
Imagine I were an army men years ago in the turmoiled times of 80s. Today, having been lost to the pages of past and bearing anonymity, I decide it’s time to make some fame and maybe some fortune too, and I walk over the our media, which is so pathetic that it’d let anyone come to the screen and blurt out anything without any proof whatsoever. And then I’m called to talk-shows, am the hot topic of the day and what not. Well…Brigadier Imtiaz is indeed earning a lot of things through the entire saga, don’t you think?

One thing is sure, The hypocrisy of Politicians and our Generals is out.
The people distributed money and the people like Nawaz Sharif, Peer Pagaro, Jamata e Islami, Abida Hussain and others who took money should be tried and punish so that this would not happen again in Pakistan and only one person can do this and his name if Iftikhar Chaudhry.
He should hang all the corrupt Politicians and Generals.
I wonder if Brig Imtiaz start telling things against MQM PPP Zardari then all the Anti Brig Imtiaz would call him the Biggest Patriot of Pakistan.
We Pakistanis are Munafiqs, if someone said anything in our favor he is good, if he said anything against us then he is a lair, or a paid person.
Its not that simple Nazia, first of all talking against Nawaz Shareef or corrupt politicians is not something ANTI STATE. Secondly if you come to me with EVIDENCES (evidence that are not denied by ANYONE not even Army generals nor politicians) I would surely publish them and you know why I would publish them ? Because it would solve lots of problems — Those evidences will help nation arrest today’s culprits as well as yesterdays culprits.
