Well Done Peshawar Police

The city of Peshawar once again became victim of terrorism. At least three people were killed in a blast at Patang Chawk area of Peshawar in the limits of Faqirabad police station on the ring road. Suicide bomber came in Rickshaw, and he blasted himself as he was intercepted at the checkpost, and a policeman also got martyred.

Peshawar is at the forefront of the war against terror. It’s easily accessible for the terrorists hailing from different agencies and from the Dara Ademkhel. Terrorists brainwash the bomber, cajole him with the promises of hoors and paradise, and send him to kill the Muslims brethern in the name of Islam.

This is the time when we should all support our policemen and the secuirty forces. Media should also play its role and instead of following some hidden agenda, they should also throw limelight on such heroes of the nation.

  1. Hats off to Peshawar Police who despite the fact that they are paid very little (even compared to Punjab Police) and perform long duty hours, are at the fore front of our battle for survival. They are guarding our streets our bazaars and markets without due consideration for their own lives to make our lives safer. I demand that our police should be paid the same as Capital and Punjab police. The duty hours should be limited to sensible duration and police should be aligned on scientific lines.
