Wake Up Pakistanis; India strikes again!
By Maham Javed • Aug 11th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 2 CommentsIt’s not one of the last tumultuous and intricate problems that are in the bag for the Pakistani Nation. Foes and foreign forces are accumulating in the adjoining countries as well as the far away ones like America and Israel; whose recent eagle-eye is fixed upon one of the most lonesome state in this world: Pakistan.
For now, if we look to the goings-on in next door rather than squabbling between us we will surely see that our next-to-no-goodness neighbor is upto no good. India, the major enemy of Pakistan since the creation of time and no doubt the proud proclaimer of most of the chaos and dissatisfaction swelling in Pakistan, has long since made headway of possessing all the water of Pakistan and shoveling it in her threshold.
Oblivious to the laws and regulations of the Indian Water Basin Treaty and apparently paying no heed to the fact that it has violated its rules, India is plowing on stubbornly with its major plan of the century; to cut of the water supply of Pakistan by sending her into the throes of water loss.
Sixty dams have been constructed on the Rivers Jehlum, Chenab besides two other rivers resulting in the aftermath of the loss of water supply and hence the shortage of electricity. India seems bent on pulling off this act as long as possible while our leaders are so sweetly and naively manipulated by India’s so-called hand of friendship. Pakistan in the future is foreseen to be suffering from acute water shortage in the coming years. India has chalked out a mega plan with the help of Jewish lobby and international NGOs to build dams on the rivers flowing towards Pakistan from Kashmir and Kargil.
The only other alternative to which Pakistan should gladly latch itself at is the building of Kalabagh Dam to forego this critical situation.
India is now turning its attention to depriving Pakistan of every little ounce of water droplet by building more and more dams. What our leaders need to do is to stop chatting animatedly with India’s representatives about “friendship ties” which is not at all the case and which never will be and turn their attention to building dams and reservoirs as well as taking immediate and firm steps to stop India from wiping away the map of Pakistan from the face of this earth!
After all if we, Pakistanis, won’t take steps to secure the safety of our own motherland who will?

Maham, where are you? Don’t you know who we are? We are that “great” people who shamelessly considers it an honour that history will remind our coming generations that once we hanged a democratically elected prime minister, an enlightened, a charismatic leader. Now, we are at it again. Don’t disturb us we are busy sharpening our daggers to get our president against whom there is no charge of corruption and we are letting those, do the job, who have a visble trail of rampant corruption and abuse of power.

Your this last line is enough for wise leaders. Nation is waiting for some one to lead. We have every thing except leadership. Once we will find true leader then we will cover the gap in a minutes. Inshallah.
keep writing and spreading awareness. good job.
