US Affecting our Integrity, Our Government Should Stop “Selling Us”

(The United States has toughened its stance on a proposed agreement with the militants, saying that any deal Pakistan reaches with them should be “worth more than the paper it is written on” (Dawn). They are also saying the militancy has increase in Afghanistan due to it)

Pasting news above is just to recall the American interference in our internal matters.

Last 9 years were those in which we didn’t had representative government in Pakistan, But after February 18th we have now elected government in Pakistan. Action taken against the integrity & sovereignty has made much damage to our motherland. Innocent People are dying in result of guided missiles and drones attacking tribal areas. We can close our eyes by categorizing it as “Collateral Damage”. Its is a collateral damage when a human being is treated as a property.

US of A is also involved in severe violation of human rights by such actions and picking up of innocent people from around the world (including Pakistan) and sending them to Guantanamo Bay ‘IN HUMAN’ prison.

Every government (upon coming into creation) place its slogan before the nation that we shall stop the practice of taking loans etc, but none of them succeeded in doing so. Which means the elected government has never been true representative of the people of Pakistan. They (during their tenure) take loans and foreign currency in different heads, spend luxurious nights in seven star hotels during foreign tours, take un-necessary officials with them etc. This all results in financial burdens on the poor people of Pakistan.

Just take an example, the helicopter of Minister of Water and Power escaped accident. Minister of a department is allowed to use helicopter, the department which is suffering from its product shortage all over the Pakistan. The cost of operating helicopter is charged to which head of account.

Above is the one example and we can have many alike examples if we try. Do we elect government members for such luxuries, do we elect members for corruption, kick-backs, foreign loans and grants. And in return they tie us in unseen ropes of un-accounted debt.

Is Pakistani for sale for last 60 years, are we slaves to follow instructions of the masters, can we raised our head and voices, can we move our heads from left to right to reject instruction or we have to move heads from up to down?
