To Drag Zardari in NRO Scandal is Not Justified
By A Khokar • Dec 18th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 5 CommentsKudos to CJP, I M Choudhary that he has been able to read the writings on the wall and felt the prevalent heat in the Pakistani streets that NRO was never a reconciliation and neither it carried any conciliatory spirit in it but was a verdict since ordained to facilitate a few to enable them to re-enter this country safely and take charge— of the rein of Government. Rightly so, The Apex court; the supreme Court of Pakistan also finding the NRO against the spirit of Constitution of Pakistan has declared it as ‘void ab initio’ (as it was never there).
Ironically NRO scandal was duly wrapped with a hint of reconciliation for Public Consumption and labelled as national reconciliation order.
Promulgation of NRO in Pakistan was a new tactical manoeuvre since crafted by CIA to try and have a blood less regime change; a form of coup in a proxy country, where CIA wanted to install the persons of their choice and had selected Miss. Benazir Bhutto. Reportedly she was trained by CIA; nurtured and moulded like the Chicago boys of late seventies in the light of Milton Friedman doctrine—-where special Chilean and other South American groups were trained in United States and sent back to their countries. They were asked to run a run of economic advancement scheme through ‘creation of economic disaster and anarchy’ and see how best it achieves the required result to subjugate the people in a targeted country. After General Augusto Pinochet of Chilly; General Pervez Musharraf along with Miss Benazir were picked in Pakistan in order to subjugate this powerful nation which possessed the nuclear armaments.
Miss Benazir was given a special programme to run this country on a given CIA lines. General Pervez Musharraf was asked to step aside and make necessary arrangements to give Benazir the red carpeted reception for her safe landing. Accordingly grounds were softened up and general Election was also duly orchestrated to hand over the rein of government to her.
Election schedule was announced but it could be felt that after arrival in Pakistan; Miss Benazir— seeing her victory stage drawn so near—- had a change of hearts. A clear mood of defiance was found displayed in her conduct. There were clear signs of betrayal found surfacing in her daily rhetoric and political plans. Musharraf who was supposed to be given a safe exit; it was seen that it would be denied to him. CIA plan was seen going topsy-turvy. Warning shots for Benazir were also sounded but finding her trekking the path of denial——— the lady—an able daughter of this nation was taken off the scene for her betrayal. She was eliminated right before she could assume the command of this nation.
After Miss Benazir Bhutto, the assuming of seat of power by Asif Ali Zardari is just incidental that after her sad demise; PPP could reap a sweeping sympathy vote and man being the widower of Benazir was crowned on top to occupy an ancestral seat of his party. His entry and to come atop is simply incidental. Under the circumstances he may be seen as a beneficiary of NRO also but he came in accompanying Benazir Bhutto in her knapsack as luggage only. So to blemish him as the prime suspected character in NRO scandal may not be justified.
This must be borne in mind that “America has no friends, only interests,” says the US foreign policy dream doctor Henry Kissinger. It is seen that entry for all the US proxies is always with great pomp and show but their tenure always terminates like the fate of General Augusto Pinochet or President Saddam Hussein that utter humiliation becomes their fate and Gallows awaits them at the end.—— There it could have not been different for Miss Benazir Bhutto—!
But—- sorry for those ‘darling buds of May’ that they were plucked before they could bloom.

Note:
The Phrase ‘The darling buds of May’
Meaning an appreciation of what is fresh and new.
Origin
The phrase refers to the opening buds that point toward the warm summer season ahead and to the freshness and exuberance of youth as it turns toward adult maturity. It probably refers not to the month of May directly but to the May tree (the Common Hawthorn) that flowers in England at that time of year. The hawthorn is important in the mythology of old England and there’s a rich symbolism wrought from its standing as an early flowering common tree. Global warming has now given the UK a climate that causes May to begin flowering earlier, but I doubt that the ‘darling buds of April’ will ever catch on.

what are you trying to say”"”"”"”"”"The Darling Buds of May is a British comedy drama which was first broadcast between 1991 and 1993 produced by Yorkshire Television for the ITV Network. It is set in an idyllic rural 1950s Kent, among a large, boisterous family. The three series were based on the novels by H. E. Bates. Originally categorised by Yorkshire TV as a drama, some regard it as a comedy. The earlier episodes are perhaps more comical, and the episode “A Season of Heavenly Gifts”, is certainly more dramatic than the others.

Dear Peer Khan,
Darling Buds of May ——— If you see it; in Urdu buds are the Ghnuchas that the flowers have to pass this stage of budding before they could bloom.
Buds are the symbol of hope and depict a practical example how they start filling the colour in the dreams to see it come true. For sure they bring up the bloom so people adore them and they are called as darling. May is the season that when the budding starts taking shape that this month is the month of blooming especially in the northern hemisphere.
Back to the phrase itself,. I agree that it is best known these days as the title of H. E. Bates’ story of idyllic country life, which has been made into a successful comedy television series. Bates took the title from Shakespeare who coined it in his celebrated Sonnet 18:
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed,
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed:
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st,
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see.
Any how this phrase so coined above by me to describe the fate of Benazir is all about dreams that most of the Pakistanis dreamt to see the budding Benazir, the darling leader of the people in the street that she was all set to bloom but her fate plucked her away. The lady fell in the traps set by the enemy of Pakistan and with her—– the dawn of democracy that Pakistanis dreamt and were about to witness it blooming after a long absence of polity in their real life in Pakistan—- also went down.
Now what we have got——– same old dictatorial regimes with their faces changed—–wearing the labels of democratic lot——-but trying to stay afloat riding the sinking ship of NRO.
