Suicide Bombing Starts Again : Melody Market Tragedy
By Ali Yar Khan • Jul 6th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • (3,895 views) • 21 CommentsWe ask where is the change, Where in the hell is change? As the mind-blowing freaking hundred disgusting and uncertain hundred days of this bizarre government completes, nation gets a gory familiar gift of the suicide bombing attack right in the heart of the Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
A suicide blast near Melody Chowk area has left 19 people dead including 15 policemen and over 40 have been injured. 40 people are injured, and the whole country watches in sheer terror as the legacy of Musharraf continuous. Just few hundred yards away, Shuhda-e-Lal Masjid Conference is going on, and these people are demanding the execution of Pervez Musharraf and holding him fully responsible for the massacre of thousands of girls and boys in the Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa one year ago.
When last year Lal Masjid operation was carried out on the orders of General (r) Pervez Musharraf, it was followed by the redoubtable strings of suicide bombings and the bomb blasts through out the country, and the whole country remained in the grip of terror and hopelessness. Then came the 18th February and people stamped their verdict and through ballot said categorically the ouster of Pervez Musharraf, who is the real source of anger for the people whose children have been killed in Lal Masjid, Balochistan, WANA and Swat.
Whether the suicide bomber in the Islamabad came out of the Shuhda-e-Lal Masjid Conference or he came separately, the correlation with this suicide attack cannot be ignored. The ongoing operation in the Khyber Agency could also be the reason behind the latest suicide bomb blast in the Melody Market, right in front of Holiday Inn Hotel, Islamabad. No safety measures could stop the suicide bomber. The tragic death of the Jawans of Punjab Police is also very painful.
Would PPP now learn this way that Musharraf must be thrown out?

I think this happens just to dievert the foucus on insuergency rahter than genunie issues such as real democrarcy, inflation and resotration of judicairy. It is just to appease the ‘Real Boss’ who dictates and iterfere into the problems of third world as well as developing countreis.
