Sindhis Love Zardari

By waris • Dec 27th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 4 Comments

While sitting in the posh and chilly Islamabad and enjoying lavish meals in sweet-cold Lahore, it’s very easy and very comfortable to think that President Asif Ali Zardari is very unpopular in Sindh and if he is ousted, nobody will shed a tear, and things will go on smoothly. It is also a common misconception throughout Punjab and Islamabad that Sindhis also believe upon the media trial of Zardari and they believe upon the alleged corruption charges upon the leadership of the PPP.

These are the same allegations and charges and cases which were shared by the late two-time Prime Minister of Pakistan, the all time great Benazir Bhutto. She was murdered in broad daylight and the whole country was at the verge of collapse and then with one statement of Asif Ali Zardari saved the country from disintegration. He said “Pakistan Khapay.”

Sindh stands with its son and they are proud of him. If the powers who want to once again slain the PPP government go forward, the whole Sindh would rally behind son of Sindh. Pakistan was made in Sindh, and Sindh will save it once again.

  1. Why in Pakistan , politician use inocent people of their land for personal gains, the real question is this: besides taking kick backs and building his own bank account what Zardari has done for my Sindh and people of Sindh. Stop using son of soil phrase, sons of sindh are not cheater or thiefs like those politicians.

  2. The logical question what Zardari has done for Common Sindhi People in recent past Rasool Bux Palejo held a Procession from Quetta to Karachi & named that procession against Zardari Long March, thereafter the same Dr. Qadir Magsi had shown their Anger against Zardari & his peculiar mindset of friends of PPP.

  3. The love of Sindhis shows in the graffiti on the walls of the national stadium in Karachi - “aik zardari sappe bhari”

  4. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was also loved by the people of Pakistan.Bhutto was a popular leader who gave us the 1973 constitution and started our nuclear program yet even a super patriot like him was killed in a judicial murder.Zardari may be popular among the Sindhis but that is not going to save him if the real have decided to get rid of him.
