Arrest warrants have been issued against Shoaib Bhutta, the publisher of a local newspaper, over leveling allegations on Jang Group and Geo television network, Geo news reported on Thursday morning.

According to sources, Shoaid Bhutta accused Jang Group of being partial in supporting movement of judges’ restoration while, Jang Group sources had denied the allegations, terming them concocted and baseless.

Jang Group sources said, Shoaib Bhutta sought financial benefits through fabricated allegations.

Geo and Jang Group never compromised over the restoration of judges and independent judiciary, sources added.
