Salman Taseer Woofs Again

By Salman Mugsi • Oct 2nd, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments

Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer was the man who didn’t even pay homage to the late Benazir Bhutto when she was assassinated last year in December, and didn’t go to her funeral and enjoyed the sun under the King Musharraf, and when Asif Ali Zardari started distributing sweets among his friends, he also blessed one of the sweetest ones to the Salman Taseer, and that was when PML(N) actually started wondering about their coalition with Zardari’s party.

Salman Taseer holds personal grudges to the leadership of PML(N), and he desperately wants to topple the PML(N) government in Punjab, and even he is ready (or perhaps more willing) to give the reign of power in Punjab to the PML(Q). He is not much interested in the renaissance or future of PPP in Punjab, rather he just wants to hurt PML(N), and in his blind pursuit, he is frantically busy in Lahore with lotas and other shadowy characters.

Right now, throughout the country only Shahbaz Sharif’s government in Punjab is showing any signs of progress and discipline and governance. The people throughout Punjab acknowledge that and the people in other provinces are envious of their brethern in Punjab, though a handful of are jealous too and couldn’t see through their intense prehensile jealousy.

Salman Taseer must bring himself back to his senses and facilitate the Punjab government for smooth functioning of its day-to-day business.
