Power is not a means, it is an end

Once again, on May 28, a police station was stormed by the local leadership and activists of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
According the police sources, a suspect, arrested by the police for his alleged involvement in street crimes, was reportedly set free by he local leadership and activists of the PPP, who stormed the Taimuria Police Station, Karachi late Tuesday night.
Just a few days ago, around 250 miscreants, under the stewardship of a local PPP leader, attacked the Jamshed Quarters Police Station in Karachi after the police refused to release a PPP-related woman accused in a robbery case. As overseas Pakistanis, we condemn barbarian acts by extremists group inside PPP.
The readers may recall that one of the main reasons for the sacking of the past two PPP governments was to use the state power against the
citizens of Sindh, and especially of Karachi. This time around, the PPP is sabotaging the very state apparatus it has previously used against its political adversaries. Thus validating IG Police Shoaib Suddle’s identification of one of the police problems in Pakistan, that is, “arbitrary and whimsical (mis)management of police by the executive authority of the state at every level.”

Unfortunately, the PPP is setting the stage for its sacking by the President, the armed forces, or even the Governor of Sindh.
I urge the PPP government to stop protecting miscreants among its ranks, to make sure that its government becomes the second political
coalition to complete its term, just like the MQM and the PML-Q government successfully completed its term in Sindh.

Unfortuately this is common practise in Pakistan.|
When parties come in power, they misuse thier power.
PPP and PML (N) has done this in the past.
We end up with Dictator.
All these acts are the invitation to army to come in power.
Dawar brought very valid issue.
PPP needs to learn from his past mistake and stop thier acts against any political parties and should not allow thier workers to take law in order in thier hand.

Recently PPP govt appointed MPA from larkana as a vice chairmain of Karachi Water and Sewerage board. They had also assigned Aga Sirag Durrani (from sikarpur) as a chairmain of Karachi Water Board.
This is unfair.
karachi water baorad should be under Mustaf Kamal command.
And why people from inetrior sindh become inscharges of karachi based government departments.
This is a proof of anti Mohajir germs inside PPP.
Karachi should be ruled by people of karachi.
This is called democracy.
isn’t?
Appointment of Sialkot born Shoaib Suddle is also a part of this anti Mohajir movement.
Do you know any urdu speaking IG Punjab/NWFP or Baluchistan?

I am agreeing with you Dawar.

This is a test of Suddle honesty.
In case of no arrest of PPP culprits IG Sindh should be removed
I urge all media represented to give coverage these incidents in their news,
talk forum etc.
Ask PPP leader about these incidents.
What actions have been taken by IG sindh Shoaib Suddle?
