This is very crucial to know as what the chiefs of main political parties are saying, especially those who are not so much happy with Musharraf and his toadies, PML-Q.

Muslim League Nawaz’s chief Mian Nawaz Sharif says that he thinks that the polling during the day was ok, though his workers were targeted and one candidate of provincial assembly from Lahore was killed, and PML-N workers were killed in some of the cities. He also blamed government for stopping his workers from voting and from mobilizing the voters. He also warned regime to not to temper with votes late in night, otherwise, Nawaz warned that things would be tough for government. His brother Shahbaz Sharif, another  bigwig in the party also warned authorities to not to rig.

Chaudhary Shujaat expressed his satisfaction over the electoral process, and also asked others to respect the results, and he predicted thattomorrow’s morning will bring the success for PML-Q. He also said that the candidate of PML-Q for the Prime Minister will be Pervaiz Elahi.

Asif Ali Zardari only said that they were following the policy of wait and see and they would only make their policy public after assessing the results.

So things are pretty uncertain for now.
