PML-Q Will Win : Guardian Predicts

By Ali Yar Khan • Feb 18th, 2008 • Category: Pakistan Vote'08, Politics • (558 views) • No Responses

Pakistan’s President General (r) Pervez Musharraf has prophesied after watching in his crystal ball that PML-Q, his brain child, will clean sweep the elections and along with Karachi party MQM will emerge as the victor. He also revealed that he would be acting as the guardian with the new government and his role would be of check and balance.

So now shall we say that the exercise of election is futile and needless, as the most powerful man in Pakistan has already told us the result? I guess all is not lost yet. This statement should infuriate the Pakistani voters. This statements should tell them what’s in the bag for them, if they dont go out there and vote tomorrow.

Massive voting by everyone in every city, town and village will save us from this guardian and his toadies. We dont need check and balances over judiciary, media and democracy. We want our elected representatives steering the ship of our country. We have enough of these lotas, and we don’t want to suffer again. If PML-Q wins, Pakistan loses.
