PML-N Gets Closer to PML-Q to Counter PPP

Asif Ali Zardari’s advances in Punjab have compelled the Muslim Leaguers of both PML-N and PML-Q to get serious about their business in Punjab. They have realized that PPP could never afford to align publicly with PML-Q as a party, and PPP would only accept PML-Q’s member, without their allegiance to the League.

By appointing Salman Taseer as the new governor of Punjab, and the heavy presence of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani in Lahore with Rehman Malik using Lahore as his operating base, there is no hiding that Zardari wants to have a coup in Punjab and when Salman Taseer says that he wants to make Punjab a Larkana, then it means that he wants to clear PML from Punjab.

Zardari’s this bid has done what no other agent could do. He has forced the factions of Muslim League to come closer. PML-Q members were desperate to come back to PML-N before and after the elections, but to their utmost despair Nawaz Sharif aligned himself with PPP to fight Musharraf away. As PPP itself is getting closer to Musharraf, Nawaz Sharif once again looks to his strong Punjabi base for support, and PML-Q’s restless members are eying this chance keenly.

PML-N, from the back doors is heavily working to entice, attract and call back the PML-Q members, and their proposal is that if the PML-Q members who want to join PML-N publicly declare their support for the cause of judiciary and their abhorrence from the Musharraf’s presidency, only then they would be welcome back. It is learned that many PML-Queers have shown their assent, and the war between PPP and PML-N has already begun.

    Dear Writers: (Appeal)

Please write report on… PTCL is going to charge HELPLINE call as local call also i.e. Rs 2.00 + taxes for 2 minutes from June 1st. Today they posted add in JANG NEWS that PTCL is going to change Helpline number from 17 to 1217 and in the end of this add…it was written in very small font that from June 1st… they will charge Helpline call as Local Call.

Its an eye opening for those who did Privatization of this company and those who supports privatization of National Assets… Specially when there is no substitute. PTCL is in foreign hands and they can do as they like. Firing Employees, Increasing call charges, applying helpline charges, sending bills even line is not working… After all its only FIXED LINE service in Pakistan and the upcoming competitor… Wateen Telecom is also cousin of PTCL. When you will sell PTCL, UFONE, VPhone, PTCL DSL, WARID TELECOM, WATEEN TELECOM in one hand ( UAE Emperors) then the result will be killing for Pakistani People.

    Please any body do it.
