Piers are falling, Rigging can’t be ruled out
By Farid Masood • Feb 18th, 2008 • Category: Pakistan Vote'08, Politics • No Responses •Vote counting is in progress and results are coming from the polling stations. Till now no final accumulative results from any constituency. If we just take the over view of NA-55 Rawlpindi-VI and NA-56 Rawalpindi-VII, from where an oldest pier Sh. Rasheed Ahmad who is trailing behind the other candidates till now. From NA-55 Mr Javaid Hashmi, PML(N), is leading and Mr Amir Fida Paracha (PPP) is trailing behind, Sh Rasheed Ahmad, (PML(Q), is on the third position. While from NA-56 Mr Haneef Abbasi, PML(N) having lead till now. If we see to NA-54 Rawalpindi-V Mr Zamurad Khan (PPP) is leading from the front.
There is a long way to go and one may not be able to predict the over all situation. PML(N) candidates from some constituencies in Lahore till now. From Balouchistan till now PPP, BNP, MMA and others are leading, From Sindh PPP and MQM will take major seats, From NWFP PPP, ANP and PML(N) are having some lead. Till now just 5% of the total results have come.
IF such results are coming till the end of counting from all over the Pakistan. The results like NA-54, NA-55, NA-56 are not easily digestible and there are strong chances of post polling rigging, the night is crucial.
On the other hand General Musharraf has changed his stance from talking about PML(Q)’s government. He told the media that he will be coordinating with any party who form the government. So the things are changing, looters will be wiped off with the WIND OF CHANGE, which is about to start.
