Petrol, Expensive than Blood

Musharraf’s failure to act upon his 7-point agenda which he gave to Pakistani nation some years back after toppling an elected government tells us yet another story of how we were plundered off our rights, and how we were deceived.

General (r) Pervez Musharraf has given the gifts of load-shedding, unemployment, poverty, lawlessness and price hike to the nation and they form a very disgusting part of our not-so-bright national history.

Now this caretaker regime, which is actually the extension of PML-Q regime has increased the prices of petroleum products once again. Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has once again frankensteinly put the burden of a massive increase in prices within the span of 15 days.

During their tenure, the ministers of Kings’ Party always told the nation that as the national exchequer was full to the hilt, so despite of the hike in the oil prices in the international market, government won’t transfer the burden to the nation.

Now one may ask as how in the hell the exchequer has gone empty, just days before the new government is about to take hold of the helm of the affairs?

Well I have just heard the news that the International prices for Oil has dropped from 112 per barrel to 106 per barrel. Will it effect Pakistan as well? Honestly speaking I don’t think so because drop of Oil prices has nothing to do with Pakistan while rise does.
