When 9/11 happened and Musharraf joined with US war on terror, even the jehadies accepted that. Remember the famous disinformation put out by alqueda that it is Jews who did the 9/11.It took some time for them to admit it openly. I think Musharaff did an admirable job of saving Pakistan nukes and freed Pakistani economy and he also was not corrupt and Media was free after long time. His main mistake was that he thought that he can take out foreign jehadies and keep the local ones humoured. He didnot understand the deep nexus between the two and that his policy of eliminating foreign jehadies was being sabotaged by elements in Saudi arabia through their links in Pakistani establishment.
As his policy came to be appreciated by the so-called free media who have gone into the pockets of Big FAT CATS of PAKISTAN he didnot fathom the subtle game they were playing. He was becoming supremely confident of his own honesty compared to Mr.10%,NRO and other leaders who were elected by people. He didnot understand that it is the ordinary POOR PAKISTANI who has elected the 10% over his own party. He could not stomach this part of DEMOCRACY. He could not even blame India!
I think a significant happening has come about in polity of Pakistan. A dictator was shown the door by corrupt but ELECTED PARLIAMENTARIANS in a peaceful manner. He is alive and staying in Pakistan. This is a significant achievement of Pakistani democracy. He was not forced into exile or killed like some of his predecessors. I think the Army also stayed neutral because it understood the mood of PAKISTANI people at this moment of time.

Nicely written. Yes, we can’t afford any other fight between politicians and dictator. They fights but in result poor people of Pakistan suffers. Economy crashes, law and order situation develops, uncertainty comes…who are the real victim of these problems…one and only PEOPLES OF PAKISTAN.
This thing, we have to understand now. We should show harmony and tolerance so Institutions remain safe. I wish a very happy and prosperous future of Pakistan. May Allah help us on right direction.

Now we will watch and ‘can afford’ to sit back and watch the fighting dictators politicians, each going for others’ jogular. Then we will again hope that some saviour will step in and sort it all out.
People did not have much to do with it, they have been manipulated by politics of fearmongerring, rumormongerring, disinformation campaigns, and false propaganda.
Now, sit tight the ‘gang war’ has already started!
