We have once again proved our mettle, and we are the champs of T20 cricket without any prior match practice. Cricket was shun from Pakistan, and we were deprived of the international matches at home. Then came the shocking attack on Sri Lankans. But we have got a knack of turning crisis into opportunity, with the blessing of Allah.
The whole of Pakistan is buzzing with slogans and happiness. A rare moment of happiness.
Pakistan have become the Twenty20 champions defeating Sri Lanka by six wickets in the hard-fought final of the World Cup 2009 here at Lord’s. Chasing 139, Pakistan achieved the target with four balls to spare with Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik were at the crease. Afridi made 55 from 40 balls with two sixes and two fours while Malik scored 24.
Boom Boom Pakistan.

Congratualtions to the Pakistani nation for a glorious effort. I see almost all are happy except Dr.Razah haider who sees INDIAN RAW here also.
All may praise Afridi but i give credit to entire team especially Razaak who did the initial damage.Younis Khan knows history and he has done the right thing for pakistani nation.He being from Mardaan is realy a patriotic Pakistani by resigning from captainship.
I hope the white nations allot pakistan the championship trophy back.
