Pakistan Army : We Stand With You

First, let me make something very crystal clear. Despite of decaying Musharraf’s shenanigans, the chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani remains the soldier he is, and he doesn’t want to rollback the democratic system, and he wants politicians to be at the helm of the affairs and run the country. General Ashfaq is wholly immersed in ensuring the security and safety of the Pakistan.

That and Pakistan Army is fully awake and very alert and assessing and analyzing the rapidly growing alarming situation at our Western borders and threats to the country from within, like they are surfacing in the Hangu area. Such flash points are being tackled down very professionally by the security forces despite of the loss of life and property.

Where United States has decided to wage a war in the FATA area, the Pakistani security forces have also devised their strategy. All the supplies to the NATO and US forces go through the Pakistan all the way from Karachi port through G.T Road up to the Peshawar (which makes a distance of thousands of kilometers) and then enters the Afghanistan. US cannot afford suspension of these supplies, and that would be one of the powerful leverage in the hands of the Pakistani forces to leash the US forces.

Moreover, Pakistan could resume the support to Taliban in Afghanistan and could engage US and NATO forces pretty severely in the central and Northern Afghanistan. The attack of US on the tribal belt would certainly unite the different factions of Talibans, and then Pakistan could facilitate the militant coalition of Mangal Bagh, Maulana Fazlullah, Haji Namdar, Qazi Mehboob and Baitullah Mehsud against the US onslaught. This would give Pakistani government dual benefit of getting rid of the militants from their areas, while giving US a tough time in their yet another misadventure.

When US attack, Pakistan must not go against the Taliban, because then instead of striking at US, Talibans would start suiciding in the Pakistani cities, and then it would be an impossible situation for Pakistani forces to handle, and they would be hapless in front of the US led NATO forces.

And what should be done to the continuous violation by US aircrafts of Pakistani aerial space? Despite a strong protest lodged by Pakistan with the US-led Nato forces in Afghanistan over attack on the border town of Angoor Adda, a US fighter aircraft and pilotless spy planes again intruded into Pakistan’s airspace in Bajaur, and North and South Waziristan tribal agencies. And this practice has become a daily routine.

Demolishing couple of planes would do a loads of good to calm the itchy and aggressive nerves of the US, and that would teach them that Pakistan is not their Banana republic, and while Yousuf Raza Gillani, our puppet Prime Minister puked in front of Michael Mullen of US, the images of drones’ wreck would speak themselves.

“then how can you start granting such an status to those who are self declared and confessed and proved “coalition” of millitants. In my opinion, all such mutineers must first accept the State as the superior force (the one with legal and moral authority) in the affirs of this country.”

There can be no militas that do not accept and obey the State, Otherwise you do not have a “State”, only a collection of people who don’t obey the law of the State. So when you have some of this collection, these tribes, these milita who not only break the law in your Country, but carry their murder and terror to your neighbors, that is a situation that will not hold. Will not stand. You as a Nation must control your citizens. YOU are responsible for them and their actions. YOU must disband them or convince them through punishment that they must obey the laws not only of your Nation but obey the laws of God. Killing and Murder of citizens, women anc children, innocents is against God’s Laws, no matter which god you beieve in.

The U.S. has tried to stay out of your country except for advisors, but you continue to want to do nothing but talk and make deals with your mis-behaving citizens. You military is seemly unable to defeat these tribes. Call them what ever name you want. Your military and Intell. Services seem either to run, get captured, or sometimes seem to be working directly with those that you can’t control.

That is how it looks to the rest of the world.

If you think that the U.S. is just going to get tired and go home and that one by one the NATO forces will leave. Well, just keep on thinking that if you wish. But it is not going to happen. Especially the U.S. They have seen that with very few of their military killed and wounded that they could kill and pacify the factions and al Quata in Iraq, and no matter how many democrats in America cried surrender, they went on to victory. It cost more money than it did lives.

Is that what Pakistan is holding out for? More Money? If the U.S. or the E.U. gives you more money will you kick out the Arabs and pacify your warring tribes and leave the Afghan alone…?

I don’t think that is the answer. I think the answer is that you can not do anything about your tribes, that you can’t prevent them from killing whoever they please, where ever they please.

Well, that must change soon. Because the U.S. is not going to just allow your Nation to be a safe haven for those that murder and only live to die fighting against anyone who is not of them.

That is not Nationalism, that is terrorism and stupid at that.
