PPP = Pakistan peoples party (led until recently by the late Benazir Bhutto)
PML-N = Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz Group (the original party that still follows Nawaz sharif.)
PML-Q = Pakistan Muslim League - Qaid Group (the splinterd shard that still follows Musharraf.)
ANP = Awami National Party (Led by Asfandyar Wali)
MQM = Muttahida Qomi Party (Led by Altaf Hussain)
now the top parts are the seat location.
NA : National Assembly (the party with majority here will pick the next Prime Minister)
PP : Province of Punjab (provincial assembly)
PS : Province of Sindh (provincial assembly)
PF : Province of NWFP (aka Sarhad) (provincial assembly)
PB : Province of Balochistan (provincial assembly)

Results from Pakistan’s elections…
Today we finally have the results of the voting that took place in Pakistan yesterday. There is a little time lapse between Pakistan and the USA, but the news is out and it appears that PM Bhutto’s husband will be the new President while Musharref ……

Dear TPS: Kindly update results. your page showing more seats than actual figures. secondly simple majority is required to form government. You have forget that last time in 2002, Mir Zafar Ullah Jamali made Government by geting lead of just SINGLE vote in National Assembly. thanks.
