Our True Heroes

By The Pakistani Spectator • Dec 13th, 2007 • Category: Uncategorized • 2 Comments •

Aitzaz Ahsan, Munir A. Malik, Ali Ahmed Kurd, and Justice (r) Tariq Mehmood have become the icons of democracy, freedom, dignity and bravery. They have done, which no one dared to since the Pakistan has got its freedom.

They have challenged:
  • Status quo
  • Establishment
  • Military Dictatorship
  • Police Terrorism
  • PCO
  • Emergency
  • Media ban
  • and the oppression of Pakistani nation.
While we are merely playing with words here, they are there really taking the brunt of being honest, candid and principled.
TPS salutes our heroes.

  1. The are the real silver linings in our overall gloomy national horizon. The year 2007 will mark the emergence of our real life heroes. The are the ones who deviated from our past judiciary’s traditionally trodden path of submission and treachery. Pakistan needs this deviation to survive and prosper. We are proud to have people like them amongst us who can resent the orders of a cruel tyrant. Our heartfelt admiration for all of them….

  2. They are all opprtunist and traitors of Pakistan. Where they were before 9th March 2007. They were working under the same judges who took oath under PCO in 1999.

They were fighting for their personal agenda/vendetta against Pervez Musharraf, without realising how much they could harm the interests of Pakistan with their actions.

They really had brought Pakistan at virtual standstill which was really progressing well for last 5 years with GDP growth rate 7-8 percent.

They will be remembered as Mir Jafer and Mir Sadiq of Pakistan in the history.

Nobody can make fool Pakistanis by declaring these culprits as heroes.

I wish I would be the Chief Justice to take suo-mot action against Ali Ahmad Kurd when he was burning (in front of supreme court) the copies of the decision in favour of president Musharraf by Supreme Judicial Council. And another suo-moto I would take against Munir Malik while he was saying “He will burn Supreme Court if the decision comes in favour of President.”
