Our Leaders Suck

Our common men and women on the roads may be proud and want to break the shackles, but our leaders are just tied up in their expedient vested interests and vision-less ambitions.
When a limited war is being fought in the tribal region of the country, both Nawaz Sharif of PML-N and Asif Ali Zardari of PPP are out of the country. The leader of PML-Q, the opposition party Chaudhary Shujaat is also nowhere to be seen. No lawyers’ leader has uttered even a weak squeal over the FATA situation. Religious party leaders are furiously trying to milk something from the government, and the regional parties are entangled in their own narrow dirty politics.
Holding up to the coattails of the Americans, the Pakistan People’s Party has become the A-team of Musharraf without acknowledging it, and the PML-N has blinded itself with the judges issue. The farcical alliance of APDM is also holed up and now it’s member parties are desperately looking sideways to slip somehow. MQM and PML-Q are confused about their future strategy as it wholly depends upon the future of Pervez Musharraf.
In such circumstances, how could the hapless people of Pakistan expect from their leaders to show some mettle in the face of redoubtable issues of war on terror, price hike, load shedding and the melting economy?

Most of them just think about themselves! there is an exception though and that is shahbaz sharif…i am not at all a big fan of sharifs but recently the way he has been handling punjab cm’s position…making surprise visits to hospitals etc etc is what we want…that at least puts the government officers on their toes and they are really there to help out people.
anyway, talking about the leaders i think one of the big problems is that we being the people of pakistan dont know what the real story is. and we never get to know this. only the ‘leaders’ know it and it never gets public. no body knows what boucher says when he comes to pakistan and no one knows what is right when it comes to dr. qadeer. we just speculate and talk about it and sometimes even make guesses and say what we feel appropriate.
for those of you who have been following the pakistani politics in the past few months would have noted that musharraf has kept a low profile and has not spoken a lot publicly. he has but only on a few occassions. we keep saying we want pervez musharraf to be removed etc etc…but let’s assume he goes…what will happen then? i assume judiciary will be restored but then? will the judges get petrol for us? will they subsidise the food for us? no they wont and they never can. its just all politicised. people are suffering and they will continue to suffer. who cares who the cj is. and those who think the judiciary will be independent if it is restored are dreaming…i dont think it ever will be.
anyway dont want to change the topic….but most of the time it appears the leaders are more selfish and are working for their personal gains than for the public.

and not to mention our so called current leaders…gilani and zardari…it appears that there was a buy one get one free deal!! who is actually running the country? not the parliament..its more like zardari and company!!

You know Naeem, why Pervaiz Musharraf is still there where he is, because all these crooks know that as soon as he is removed by force or impeached or decides to resign, these vultures will be at each others throats. He is right now the centre of gravity, the only unifying force otherwise for all practical purposes he is done and if nothing else we must be grateful to the man for letting his person be used for a great national purpose which is letting them (the cukoos) scratch each others eyes out and help the country disintegrate.

ZARDARI WAS CORRUPT YESTERDAY, HE IS LIAR TODAY, AND HE WILL BE SECOND MUSHARF IN FUTRE.
SHARIF WAS INDIRECTLY CORRUPT TOO, BUT RIGHT NOW HE IS STUCK WITH MUSHARAF ONLY, HE SHOULD THINK AND ACT IN MORE BROADER SPECTRUM IN THE INTEREST OF WHOLE NATION (SHOULD ASIDE HIMSLEF FROM CURRENT GOVERNMENT)
REST OF THE LEADERS DONT EVEN WORTH TO COMMENT UPON.
EXCEPT IMRAN, HE SHOULD STRUGGLE HARD AND SHOULD KEEP HIMSELF AT DISTANCE FROM ALL CURRENT POLITICIANS (JI, APDM, ETC ETC).
MAY GOD HELP US AND GIVE US THE COURAGE TO THROW ALL THESE CORRUPT PEOPLE IN THE OCEAN. AMEEN.

Woh jo kahtay hain tu phir theek hi kahtay hongay. Pakistan ki siasat main dal main kala nahin DAL hi kali hai. Like many I am so surprised, how come same people keep getting elected by Pakistani Awam. I guess one reason is there is no one else around. It means Pakistan lacks political leadership and Vision. Yeh Aram ki Toupain, in expensive shalwar qamiz and Black waist coats, with millions and billion of haram ki Kamai, are only there to mint money out of national treasure. Look at their fat red faces, and cunning smiles, oh my God. Khuda ki lathi beawaz hai. wahan dair hai andheer nahin, Woh sub deekhta hai sub sun raha hai, majboor o bekas bandoon ki. Zaleel o khawar hoongay. Bus deer hai andheer nahin. Iss toofan e badtameezi main Allah Shabaz Sharif, Altaf Hussain, Fatima Bhutto, Sheikh Rasheed ko, to name some, Allah Iman Taqat aur himmat day. Mussalmano na ghabrao abhi inqlab anay wala hai. Pakistan Painda Baad Awam Zinda baad. Allah bless our nation please.
