I just got the official Beta Retweet to share tweets.

Here is what the welcome note looks like

Although have been using retweet from hootsuite, tweetdeck and seesmic, I think its Twitter has done the right thing.

I can Retweet by clicking the Retweet link at end of each tweet posted by those who I follow

And when someone retweeted, I saw the display pic of the person who originally posted that tweet, and in the end “retweeted by username”. So it was more appealing than the process of retweeting by twitter apps imho

And finally, the best feature of all. Some people just retweet whatever they see, to stop spammers there is a nice option. You can go to any person’s profile and just click the follow retweets icon to follow or unfollow tweets retweeted by that particular person.
