Nov. 3, 2007 : When Dictator Puked
By Sameer Shaharyar • Nov 3rd, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 2 Comments •It all started with a ‘No’ from now deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry in front of the dictator, and all hell broke loose. The things got so much out of hand that On Nov. 3, 2007 Pakistani President and Chief of Army Staff Pervez Musharraf declared emergency in Pakistan and suspended the Constitution.
Musharraf, the worst general we ever had was all set to spend 20 more years in the presidency and his illicit child PML-Quisling was clamoring to “elect” him five times more. President House had become the qibla of all lotas, turncoats and modernized enlightenment and from Fazlur Rehman to Altaf Hussain and from Pir Pagara to Salman Taseer; everyone was having a pilgrimage out there. President Musharraf’s Provisional Constitutional Order (Nov 3, 2007) was the worst ever devised piece of crap in this land, which with brazen shamelessness defied all rules of logic, law and ethics.
Under General Musharraf’s dark night we saw two things happening: the top one per cent of the population getting richer, leaving other sections of society far behind while our financial idiot Shaukat Aziz was chuckling about trickle down effect of economy which is yet to happen; and the gulf between the people and the army widening, exposing the army to criticism and violence everywhere in the country.
Asif Ali Zardari, the now civilian dictator of Pakistan who has got much baggage to carry and to hide must recall the fate of the still-not-forgotten dictator and he must remember that the unprecedented lawyers’ movement will achieve its goal of independent judiciary, supremacy of Constitution and rule of law.
Every movement takes time to take roots and succeed. If we abandon the movement now, those following us will be stranded, and posterity will never forgive us. This movement is the movement for survival for Pakistan.

a tale of distorted facts like always by Sameer Shaharyar. A ploitical analysis by Lal Bhugakar, love to write and hate to read and lacks intelligent judgement, specialized in frying chatpata political Pakoras, toped with chutney, served in old dirty news papers.
Every Pakistani leader leaves power the vulchers gather around his political death. Few smart polticians know this and before the leave they do the same wirh you on advance and rob your body and soul.
It’s dangerous for the country. I hate this Pakistani evil tradition.
Deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry and Awam served President well.
Now you have successfully changed the Government what happend No No to Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry. Worse worse to everything.
God bless you.
Allah nay farmaya hai ” Keep the Balance ” Kam mut toolo

Musharraf’s ghost still haunts Sameer Shaharyar. Lolz
I am surprised to see situation worsening day by day in the political government. Actually now Sameer wants Nawazu to take over and let the nation back to 1998-99 situation when we did not have enough money to even think about choices of lenders.
Well done Sameer in promoting the hatered.
