Update: PML-Q is disintegrating fast. Pakistani Voter has risen. It has answered the call of democracy. The PML-N, the party vying for the free judiciary, ouster of Musharraf and democracy is winning by a huge margin in National and Provincial Assembly.

Big names of PML-Q have lost the election, such as its President Chaudhary Shujaat, Sheikh Rashid, Chaudhary Amir Husain, Pervaiz Elahi, Ghulam Sarwar Khan and many others have been ignominiously defeated in the polls.

Counting is underway for the general elections in Pakistan, and the whole world has set its paklive1 eyes upon this election, as these elections are not only crucial for the Pakistani nation, but for the whole region, which directly affects the world. Progressive results have started to come out, and an amorphous shape has started to form, though its still unrecognizable.

According to the progressive results pouring in from various constituencies, PML-N is doing great in Northern and South of Punjab, where PML-Q is doing good in Central Punjab, but PML-N is also strong in the urban areas of Center of the Punjab, where as Northern Punjab is again swaying towards PML-N. PPP is also getting lead in few constituencies.

Sympathy vote for PPP is working great for them in the urban and rural areas of Sindh, except Karachi, but they are also set to win some seats in Karachi. In Balochistan, things are tough and tense, and the voter turnout is very pathetic, and independents are leading the way with JUI-F’s faction taking some seats.

In NWFP, PML-N is doing great in Hazara division, and ANP is gaining lead in Peshawar, Charsadda and Nowshera, whereas JUI-F is also gaining some seats in Dir and Swat area. Things are very heated and very interesting right now on country’s political horizon.
