Nature of Issues
By Rohail Butt • May 15th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments •The most taradiddle and bosh argument against the restoration of the judges is that the nation is facing crisis like flour shortage, food shortage and load-shedding.
First thing is that these two issues are not related. They are basically not mutually exclusive, and by the way who is stopping the government to not act in providing flour, food and power to the nation?
The issues of flour, food, law and order, power are primarily maitenance issues and they are the natural needs of the nation. They surely require them. The issues of the reinstatement of the judges is an inspirational issues.
Government has got numerous ministries, ministers, secretaries and hoards of staff for food, agriculture, power, water and other maintenance issues. Government shouldn’t be covering it’s failure with their delaying tactics in the restoration of judges.
