Mustafa Abu ul Yazid a.k.a Sheikh Saeed Interview : Another Lawrence of Arabia?
By Fatima Tassaduq • Jul 23rd, 2008 • Category: Politics • One Response •GEO News has telecasted an hour long interview of a top Al Qaeda leader Mustafa Abu ul Yazid a.k.a Sheikh Saeed, and it was like watching a thrilling drama. It was all way too dramatic. They way the reporter of GEO “happened” to meet an old friend, and expressed his desire to have an interview with any Al Qaeda official, and then how after some months Al Qaeda contacted him, and then he was taken to Peshawar and then to the Afghanistan’s area of Khost blindfolded and then none other than Mustafa Abu ul Yazid a.k.a Sheikh Saeed gave him a calm interview right in front of a camera.
In this interview, Al Qaeda chief took the responsibility of the 9/11 and also lambasted the Pakistan government for aiding the United States and they also implicated American public with the George Bush, as they voted him again for the second term, and they accepted the onus of the bomb blast in front of Danish embassy in Islamabad just days ago.
This all is very strange. People are really confused. Still nobody knows about Al Qaeda, as where it’s real head quarter is, and where it exists, where it resides, I mean they say that Al Qaeda was established in 1988, and the fact is that it appeared after 9/11 and become a convenient excuse for US to bomb out two Muslim countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, and now US is twisting arms of Pakistan.
Muslims haven’t still forgotten Lawrence of Arabia. Muslims are still not clear about Al Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden or Sheikh Saeed and others.
O Allah may guide us in this regard.

People are really confused! They are ever confused. They disbelieve anything that is against their fixed ideas and imagination.The whole majority of the world is saying one thing and we Pakistani want to believe only that things which has been told us by Dr. Shahid Masood & Co. or Imran Khan & Co. This interview was a good quality interview and very clearly the top Al-Qaida officials has accepted the 9-11. The story interviewer that he met old friend etc etc. not to be quite clear as it happens in such types of interviews. A very close contact of the interviewer (Najeeb ) with many Al-Qaida and Talibaan is usually the fact as Hamid Mir has all the good contacts with such elements.
