Musharraf Attacks in Sindh

By Ali Yar Khan • Aug 13th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses •

The coalition government is religiously pursuing the impeachment movement of President General (r) Pervez Musharraf and in that regard the draft of charge sheet is in the final stages of preparation and both NWFP assembly and Punjab assembly have passed the resolution in the favor of Musharraf’s impeachment.

Contrary to the many speculations, General (r) Musharraf is trying to counter and combat the move by the adversaries and he starts his onslaught from the Sindh province. Shariffuddin Pirzada, the a close legal aide of Musharraf has been assigned to the duty of snatching the Sindh government from PPP. Pirzada has met with Makhdoom Amin Fahim, PML-Pagara, MQM and other nationalist leaders and have got their full support. Makhdoom Jamiluz Zaman, son of Makhdoom Amin Fahim would be the person for the next chief minister of Sindh, if Musharraf succeeds in breaking the PPP’s government in Sindh.

As soon as the Musharraf group achieves the required numbers, Governor Sindh Ishratul Ibad would ask chief minister Qaim Ali Shah to take the confidence vote according to the article 112 of constitution. PPP sources have confirmed that their members in Sindh have been offered Rs. 40 million each to become lota. After success in Sindh, the same process would be repeated in other provinces.

Fight is certainly on.
