Its Hindu ruler chose in 1947 to deliver its Muslim population to India during the frantic days of British India’s partition but the U.N. ordered a referendum among the Muslims (believed today to favor independence). India has never accepted it.
If Kashmir was the motive for the Mumbai attacks, why were the targets hotels and restaurants frequented by Western tourists, and also the area where prosperous Indians reside, and a Lubavitch Hasidic Jewish center—an outpost of mainly American and Israeli Jews? None of them have anything to do with Kashmir.
Although the guns unleashing the havoc to Mumbai have gone silent and so have the terrorists. All the terrorist but one was killed and their bodies are now in possession of forensic investigating teams which include Indian, CIA, Mossad and FBI. Pakistan will certainly like to join in since they are being implicated to have trained the terrorist and sending them across for this adventure.
They say; dead body never tells a lie. Of all the religions in India only the Moslems are circumcised. The dead bodies may tell us a lot. The only terrorist caught alive is named as Muhammad Ajmal Kasab s/o Muhammad Amir Kasab of village Faridkot, Okara, Pakistan. Unlike India, Pakistan has a ‘Database and Registration Authority’. It has got a large data portal for the people living in Pakistan. In Pakistan, every one is supposed to have National ID card. Even every child bears the National ID number. Name and the address can invariably be verified by data base as well as investigation on ground.
As reported by Andrew Buncombe in Delhi, The Independent Thursday, 27th November 2008, « most of the attacks have been blamed on extremist Muslim groups but, in recent weeks, police have rounded up 10 members of what they say is its first Hindu terror cell ». In early November 2008, the Mumbai Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS), headed by Hemant Karkare, arrested 10 Hindutva extremists, including Dayanand Pandey (a prominent religious leader of Uttar Pradesh) belonging to Sangh Parivar, an umbrella organisation comprising the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bajrang Dal, and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, in connection with the 8 Sept 2006 Malegaon bomb blasts in a Muslim cemetery in Maharashtra killing dozens of Muslim pilgrims and injuring scores more. The ATS investigation has uncovered connections with the Israeli MOSSAD whose Indian home-grown agents have infiltrated many Hindu organizations in India, as well as connections between the Indian military and Hindu extremist groups. In the very early hours of the Mumbai attack on 26/11, the unknown terrorists eliminated Hemant Karare, Head of the ATS, along with Mumbai’s additional commissioner of police Ashok Kamte and high-level police officer Vijay Salaskar, The Times of India reported. The killers must have had inside information as Indian security services have been infiltrated. One of the ‘unknown’ terrorist caught on CCTV camera at the Chattrapati Shivaji railway station wore a sacred Hindu wristband. The victims included Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jews, Indians, Britons, Americans and a Mauritian.
It is also reported by CNN (3 December 2008) quoting CIA officials that Last week’s attacks in Mumbai, India, were carried out by the same group responsible for two previous attacks in India i.e. of ‘Samghoota Express massacre’ and killing of dozens of Muslims known as ‘Malegaon bomb blast’. Various serving as well as retired Hindu military officers are held responsible for carrying out the carnage as well as organizing the training for the Hindu extremists. Threats and warnings are being exchanged by India and Pakistan about the attack on Mumbai, carried out by presumed Muslim extremists. But question remains; terrorists were acting to what purpose, and under whose instructions?
Mean while Pakistan has offered a full cooperation in the investigation in the Mumbai massacre. Pakistan government has nothing to hide and that why they would do it?. It seems more likely to be the work of external forces, with internal complicity, which do not want peace between those two sister countries and sister communities. The plan is clearly to provoke a war between India and Pakistan. Where India has her ambitions to be recognized as the future super power in south East Asia and Pakistan wants to detach it self from US murdering ventures.

Reportedly Lashker e Tayiba is an old by gone organization which used to operate in the past in Kashmir like any other organization that India would have to counter it. Talking of just Lashker e Tayiba will be living in the past when U.S. with her hegemonic designs were not here knocking at subcontinent western doors along Hindu Kush mountains and moving down the Khyber pass, the gate way to India.

Your second query about Hafez Saeed: Well; there is no denial that Hafez Saeed is not the head of Jammat Daua or previously; he was not engaged with Lashkar e Tayiba. These are two very efficient and down to earth dedicated known organizations in the world. It is quite possible that many others; may they be found inside as well out side Pakistan, reportedly very weary about these organization. Envy them and want to see them go down and defunct. But to to indict any one you need to have proof.
Our just mere wish may not be the sufficient evidence to hang any one.

The story at your link certainly gives an impression that there lives some Mr Amir who is married to Mrs Noor Elahie and that this name has been checked by electoral roll of the village.
All the married people have their father in law which is not news but probably the reporter is not aware of the fact that in Pakistan there is a ‘Database and Registration Authority’. After mentioning father name the reporter like to like to give a hear say account of Ajmal/Jamal name and thus has failed to establish an authentic link.
Any how; any body can do any thing for the money or even for their concocted cause. If the story of Ajmal Amir Kasab (although every news paper is quoting a different name); as described is taken as correct and he has been louvered in for this savage action. It is an action of an individual and his personal decision to indulge in a culpable incident. How come Pakistan becomes responsible for this?

Kasab in his own words: I am Pakistani and a terrorist

MUMBAI: Pakistan wanted proof, and now it is there, in the killer’s own words and in his Ajmal Amir Kasab own hand.
Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone captured Ajmal Amir Kasab terrorist in Mumbai, has written a three-page letter to the Pakistani High Commission, stating that as a citizen he was entitled to seek legal help from his own country to fight his case in Indian courts.
The document not only finally settles the debate about the origins of Kasab and his fellow terrorists is a major embarrassment for Islamabad which has dithered about accepting that the Mumbai attack was launched from Pakistani soil.
Perhaps, what’s worse for the detractors in Islamabad is a confession contained in the letter written in Urdu. “Mein sabse bara gunehgar hoon, kitne bekasoor logon ki jaan li hain, Khuda mujhe maaf karein (I am the biggest sinner, I have killed so many innocent people, may God forgive me),” the terrorist wrote in a repentant tone.
“Sabse bara gunehgar to mein mere maa-baap ka hoon… unke dil ko thes pahunchaya hain (My biggest crime is against my parents… I have given them immense pain).”
Kasab has also requested the Pakistani high commission to at least bury Ismail Khan’s body in Pakistan. It was Khan’s last wish, the letter added. Khan was the terrorist who accompanied Kasab as they spread terror from CST to Girgaum Chowpatty. “Uski aakhri khwaiash thi ke marne ke baad usko Pakistan mein dafnaya jaye (His last wish was that he be buried in Pakistan after his death),” Kasab wrote.
“We have forwarded the letter to the Union home department which, in turn, will be sending it to the Pakistani high commission in New Delhi,” joint commissioner of police (crime) Rakesh Maria said.
The letter contains details of his nine colleagues (and himself) Pakistan may now find difficult to ignore. Additional commissioner of police Deven Bharti said the letter had minute details of each of his nine colleagues killed on 26/11. It mentions not only their addresses but also names their handlers, including four important Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives: Hafeez Saeed, Zakir-ur-Rahman Lakhvi, Kahafa and Abu Hamza.
Kasab claims he had lost his head in the swirl of the jihad brainwashing by LeT and ISI operatives.
“Bahak gaya tha mein, Lashkar ke darindon ne mukhe phansa diya (I was misled, Lashkar’s devils ensnared me),” he said.
“Pure Pakistan ko badnaam kiya hai, Khuda mujhe maaf karein (I have tarnished Pakistan’s image, may God forgive me).”
The letter also mentions that they were allowed a week’s leave after they had completed their arms training some time in September. “They were told they could go anywhere they wanted to and Kasab, who left home two years before that, went to his village and met his old parents. He also took their blessings, saying he was going for jihad,” Maria said.
The State Forensic Science Laboratory has sent a report of the two taxi blasts in Vile Parle and Wadi Bunder, confirming the use of RDX and petroleum oil in the two bombs. The composition of explosives was prima facie similar to those used in the 1993 serial blasts, Maria said.
There is more evidence that the Mumbai terrorists came from Pakistan than there was that Osama Bin Laden was behind 9/11.
But India should not make the same mistake as the US did after 9/11 and should show more restraint.
Already Pakistan is falling apart as a nation. In a few years it will break up into 3 or more countries (like Yugoslavia) - a Pashtunistan, a Baluchistan, a Sind and a PakPunjab. If India takes any overt action, this would just unite the Pakistanis and delay the breakup.
Best thing is to let the US handle the terrorists and watch Pakistan fall to pieces on its own

The confession of the lone surviving terrorists Mr Ajmal Amir Kasab is surprisingly for all of us. Yesterday his group brough a havoc in Mumbai and today he has started preaching the truth. Not that he reportedly confesses (if it is right) that he comes from Pakistan and blah, blah, blah. But what is interesting that so called men of velour who had carried out an attack deep in Indian Territory with such a precision. Leaving the savagery and devastation in Mumbai massacre aside (which is a despicable conduct) this gangue was able to execute their mission so well. It was aunique show of their true spirit of professionalism. They remorselessly fought it out to the last bullet and last breath.
Now he; over night has becomes a confessor and preacher of truth. He is coming out with all the stories that Indian Media as well as the Indian government agencies portrayed in the very first hour of the incident on 26 November 2008.
How surprising it is; very, very surprising.
If the above is truth and correct and if Lashker e Tayiba is some viable force really indulging in such sort of mission then Lashkar e Tayiba must take a heed; that they might have inculcated the strategy of No Exit theory for their executioners; to do and die only. The very lone survivor like Ajmal Amir Kasab may topple their entire domain over?
