Mr. President…..Please!!!
By The Pakistani Spectator • Jul 16th, 2007 • Category: Uncategorized • 19 Comments •The Neo-Cons of US, led by Mr. Dick Cheney are all out to cause irreparable damage to Muslim Ummah. After a well-directed drama staged on 9/11, the US got a certificate to kill Muslims around the world and shuddered the very basis and foundations of many Muslim states. After invading in Afghanistan, it attacked Iraq on very flimsy grounds. It has sown seeds of sectarian conflicts in whole of Middle East.
US never want a stable and strong Pakistan. Few months ago a US think-tank published a ‘future’ map of Middle East, Iran and sub-continent including Pakistan which showed that in future many states would face break-up. Actually it was nefarious design and ugly intent of the US which it manifested through the maps published in an American journal.
If we see the happenings in Pakistan in last few years, it is not difficult to understand that the US desires our rulers to do such acts which may weaken the national integrity of Pakistan. Irrespective of many dark aspects of Mr. Bugti’s personality, the act of his brutal murder jeopardized the national cohesion as he was not an ordinary man. By ignoring the local traditions, disrespecting the international borders, the NATO forces continue to attack tribal areas of Pakistan and killed hundreds of innocent Pakistanis. The latest news emanating from Washington is that they would strike even more vigourously inside the Pakistan territory to hunt the ‘alleged’ terrorists. All of us know how weak was reaction by our Govt. on these blatant violations of our borders. The latest tragedy was that of Lal Masjid. Hundreds of innocent poor people were killed in operation. The mystery shrouds the whole episode. I do not need to elaborate those instances which show that the event was well-orchestrated by hidden hands.
Now let us see what is the outcome of all these unfortunate events.
Erosion of national unity….. weakening of the federation….events leading to civil war….increase of hatred towards the Army….Disintegration in society on basis of ‘moderation’ and ‘extremism’….Is’nt it so?
Is it difficult to understand who is the ultimate beneficiary? Yes…The US and the western powers which hate to see a united, strong and nuclear Pakistan.
To undo all of the past mistakes, I humbly request Mr. President to think for the country. For God’s sake, denounce this damn ‘alliance with the US against terror’. Lets be like Iran. Say bye to US and tell it to fight the war on terror on its own. Seal borders with Afgahnistan to end any possible export of terrorism. In response, what will happen? They may become our enemy….OK…Let them be. They will kill us? Ok..Let them. We will love to die this death as there will not be any doubt that we will be “SHAHEED”. Right now, there is controversy that who is ‘shaheed’….the suicide bomber or the security forces, Pak Army or A.R. Ghazi…This death will be respectable than the death which we are facing now. A Muslim suicide bomber, killing himself and killing dozens of Muslim security forces….!! Muslims killing Muslims….why?
I assure you Mr. President, if you do this, you will be pardoned by the nation for all what is past now. You need Pakistani nation for your power or you really do not care the nation and only wish to get a pat on shoulder by neo-cons of US? If the suggested route is not taken, I am afraid the map which was envisioned by the US think-tanks would be a reality in times to come. And it will not be distant future. If we see the events of killings in NWFP and Balochistan in the wake of Lal Masjid operation in this week, the dark future is writing on the wall.

A bold article, the writer has louded the voice of hearts of 160 Million people excluding the MNAs & MPAs.
Golly Gosh, you guys just sit there and hatch ‘US’ conspiracies. You think we have that extra time to chart out such ‘nefarious’ designs.
Your greed is what is destructing you, and no US or UK or anyone else is responsible.
Your tone is surely earnest but will Mr. President read your article at all?
Ok let me pose a question:
What if the reign of the affairs would be in the hands of politicians. I mean what if the PM was Nawaz or Baynazir, do you think that they would have followed the same course as of Mush.
You have presented a fine piece, and a true way to Shahadat.
I wouldnt have beleived your words, if I hadnt been witnessing the recent events in Swat and NWFP.
A Pakistani who is in a position to see things which they are in real.
R u a journalist? I think I have seen your name in some newspaper. Please introduce yourself.
wow, Mr. Naeem, you have written a gem of an article. But why it takes so long to you to appear here. You made us hooked here, and then disappeard.
Thats not fair.
But this time, you portrayed a very gloomy picture. Please also tell us something good. Dont be that pessimistic.
James Gladstone
‘nefarious’ designs are not hidden now, so justify a thing that is still to be published.
Regards
Prof. Armughan Khan
a question from my side:
If Musharraf Govt was there in May 1998, they would have been acted in favour of nation?
regards
Farid sahib. You are very right in responding to James. I guess he does not have much interest in political and international affairs. Its his naivety when he said that they did not have time to conspire against Muslims. He does not know what Pentagon, CIA, State department do. Usually the Americans do not think beyond Atlantic. Their media only portray the picture what the US admn wants.
James! We do not bracket American people with the US administration. Insofaras his words “your greed is what is destructing you no US or UK….”__ while analyzing our problems, we do not spare the faults and follies of ourselves. We do mention. In my post, I asked Mr. President (our country’s president) to wake up, I did not ask Bush or Brown to be kind to us. Right?
Dear Anonymous! I do not care if president reads this or not. To understand the issues, if u have read and understood what I wanted to convey, purpose of my write-up is fulfilled. You are more important than president. Every citizen of Pakistan is important.
Professor sahib! No civilian can be submissive in an unabashed way. Just think of the basic reason; Civilian ruler seeks his strength from the masses. Dictator’s strength is not the support of the people of the country but ‘shabaash’ from the USA in modern times.
Rahila! I do write for the Daily Express. My column appears on Monday. U can see that by clicking this link.

Saba Ali, how I can be optimist after seeing all what is happening in our country. Every writer who has some understanding of the issues gives wake-up call to rulers and the people. If we close our eyes (like a pigeon), do u think the cat will spare us?
Rumta Jogi, thanks for your comments.
Naeem
Great write up Naeem sahab, but let me tell you that your thoughts to the President might be extremist.
Your president is no different from Bush or Brown. They all follow Israel directly or indirectly.
American government is selected by american people. You cant differentiate between us. We are some kind of rotten third world country where people are different than their representatives.
And I am not naive, and if you equate naivity with speaking truth candidly, then why the slogan at your site says “A Candid Look”. Make it “A Naive Look”
Naeem , Who do you think could save Pakistani boat right now?
With all due respect, In which world r u living Naeem Sahab?
In Pakistan, which civilian rulers got its power from masses? All looked towards GHQ.
A recent living example is Baynazir. She is hell bent on doing everything to get the Kursi, and she is not looking towards the populace, but towards that GHQ,which hanged her father.
Golden will be the days when the rulers will take “awam” as the source of power. Wistful thinking, but it is for now.
These rotten people are powering your economy, Mr BladderStone.
Farid:
My answer is Yes, a Big Yes.
Our homeland soil is quite rich in being individually faithful. Simultaneously if we count on being collectively faithful it is hopeless. Thats why we are standing still to find way home in this land. Unfortunately we are failed to deal with a problem as a nation rather we have a problem to be united under one roof. We have too many problems currently and they can’t be solved individually. We must educate ourselves to be united at one thought in order to save leg pulling and unnecessary criticism. Otherwise foreign powers will overwhelm the sub continent for long. God bless our homeland…
