The Pakistani Spectator

Bearing ill will towards the Pakistanis that has been doing more for the Afghans and other Muslims of world than any other country won’t help in any way but only worsen the strife by destabilizing Pakistan, and it will only weak the cause of Islam.

Taliban, whether Pakistani or Afghani, or Pashtuns, Hazaras, Uzbeks, and Tajiks should realize that its in the interest of no one to harbor and promote terrorism. By suicide bombings and bomb blasts they are only giving excuses to USA to intervene in Pakistan, and romp the only Islamic country in the world which has the nuclear capability, and a capability which is second to none in its quality and safety.

They, the militants, mustn’t try to hurt Pakistan. Because a weak Pakistan doesn’t offer anything to Afghanistan, or to Iran for that matter, and neither China would like that.

The US - led coalition has failed to prevent the border crossings. So, how can Pakistan be expected to do that, given the most difficult terrain and its very limited resources? And also when Pakistan is also rocking with suicide attacks and bomb blasts, its very hard for Pakistan to play any role in the reconciliation and end of war in the Afghan region.

Afghans and the militants of tribal belt should also realize that there is also other billions of people living on this same planet enjoying life, and Afghanis also deserve all the necessities and luxuries of life. It’s time militants let Afghanistan come out of stone age, and its also in everyone interest that they must end their efforts to push Pakistan towards the caves.
