Massage Centers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad
By Amna Gilani • Nov 15th, 2009 • Category: Misc • 24 CommentsI am ill at ease as why the very mention of the massage parlours in Pakistan evoke strange and suspicious responses, and massage clubs in Pakistan are like brothels to say the least. I have been to many countries in the world and have relaxed in such centers, and have experienced that how relaxing, serene, and tranquil the experience is.
It’s your choice to have massage by a lady or by a gent. I always went to Chinese massage girls, as they were very adept at their work and know how to make you feel comfy. Getting massage is not about getting something promiscuous. It’s all about body therapy. It’s a culture in many countries in Asia. Having a massage, followed by hot bath, having a herbal tea and then a siesta; What an enjoyment and a lifetime experience.
People in Pakistan, many of them also want to have this integrated bodywork treatment, but they are unable to find some suitable and decent places. There are some shady massage clubs in Pakistan, but they are no more than red light clubs, actually offering prostitutes. There are some health clinic in Karachi but they are way too expensive and exclusive and also their quality is just showy.
It’s a pity that we cannot do good things in good way.

Very well said, my thought exactly.
However in Pakistan Hira Mandi may operate openly but a decent massage by a parlour and a lady to a man is considered indecent.
In Dubai you cannot get a haircut from a woman, but a massage is possible. Double standards.
I think most of our Muslim countries are living in double standards and that is the problem.
I too wish there were some clean, decent massage Spas that one may be able to go in as a couple or a family to realax once a month.
I agree with Amna,as in these days of stress an affordable massage centers will be a blessing in disguise.

LOL..Amna…Can you be so naive as to think that Massage parlours abroad are purely for thr purpose of a massage and herbal tea??? I think not, being a frequent visitor to such establishments whenever i’m out of teh country…Let me just say, for most of us, the phrase “happy ending” generally refers to the climactic resolution of a story or feature film, where the protagonist realizes the glorious fruits of their labor whilst the antagonist suffers painful retribution for their previous wrongdoing, lol…but,

While both highly illegal and unfair to trees, the practice of providing “happy endings” has become so pervasive in the massage industry that many clients actually come to expect “happy endings” at the completion of their therapy sessions and therapists are all too happy to provide it.
So you see, while i would agree that massage parlours in Pakistan are a bit shady, i think it highly unfair to extoll the virtues of massage parlours in other countries…it’s the same practice everywhere..you just gotta ask politely

Look at you people, talking about massage parlors to relax as if it is some newly invented aphrodisiac. If you people are so disconnected from your own culture and elders then go talk to your elders and ask them what they use to do if they got so tired. If you can’t, then just watch any old drama, or movie. People have someone massage them. In urdu it’s called “dhabana” and in Punjabi it’s called “kotna”. Spouses did that for each other, and especially common was for the younger ones (kids) doing it for the elders. Now you have a new pervert system where you go to some “parlor” and get undress for someone to massage you. Oh and by the way search for news articles and you will find that of these such places were found to have hidden cameras recording their customers.
As for the Muslim women who think it ok to remove/change clothes outside their homes, they should pay particular attention to the below ahadith.
The hadeeth narrated by Imam Ahmad, Ibn Maajah and al-Haakim from `Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) says: “Any woman who takes off her clothes anywhere but in her husband’s house has torn the veil that was between her and Allaah (i.e., He will expose her).”
A version that was narrated by Ahmad, al-Tabaraani, al-Haakim and al-Bayhaqi from Abu Umaamah (may Allaah be pleased with him) says: “Any woman who takes off her clothes, Allaah will tear His cover away from her (i.e., expose her).”

I think we should be little realistic in our approach & let the people decide for themselves what is good or bad, that suits them best within the framework of their own understanding of religion, culture & value system. Unfortunately, Pakistani environment has the tendency of imposing & interefering.
Amna, as far as good Spas in pakistan, i think in Islamabad i have known NIRVANA in sector F6, in Lahore Sukh Chan club have a really good trained thai staff & i have personally found them very professional and in Karachi i have heard about Oxygen. Yes there might be some Spas in these cities, which are solely for sex purpose but the ones i have mentioned, they are professional & clean places. I think Nirvana is also opening soon in Lahore DHA, Phase-5.
