Martyrdom of Frontier Constabulary Personnel

By Ali Yar Khan • Jul 15th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses •

In the fight against the militants, the Jawans of Frontier Constabulary are at the forefront. They have been sacrificing their lives for couple of years now continuously, and now as the 17 more of them have died in an ambush by Talibans, the local people of Hangu have risen for the support of FC against Taliban.

Frontier Constabulary personnel were martyred in an ambush by the extremists while on their way back to Doaba passing through the Zargari, which had turned the atmosphere highly tense and the army is still on the third day holding control at Duaba, Hangu and other adjoining areas. The martyers of FC belongs to the North Waziristan, Oogi, and Peshawar areas of NWFP.

Hundreds of armed men belonged to Shinawari and Naryab tribes announced war against Taliban, after the FC men were killed by Taliban cold-bloodedly.

The whole Pakistani nation stands behind the FC and our security forces. Talibans must either put their weapons down and let the peace prevail, or they must be ready for revenge.
