Mr mirza still need lot of time to mature in choice of his ideals.Using such flattery remarks in extremist way for his ideal hameed gul even for his daughter completely shows his weak concept of judging people character.Her daughter had nt a single contribution in Varan establishment as whole ISI men under his father and askari bank people were behind this project and how brutally the management handle the poor employees is crystal clear to all rawalpindi people.

If some body thinks that his strategy helped in breaking russia ,then one should ask him that why so geniuess general couldnt get Kasmir from India( he atleast spent 10 year as general ).The answer is russsia broke down because of US policies and arms supply to afghanis and his character is no more than tout who worked accordingly US plans and mortgage the security of his mother land in the hands of warrior afghanis and extreme breed that was groomed in our mountains for supplying army to afghanistan as jihadis.He was against musharf not because he was dictator but on destruction of his breed and structure.For last 40 years our ISI chief is always selected by CIA.If we had ever had such kind of generals in our army as said in mirza writing, then we never lost wars with India,no way Pakistan was divided and never ever faced civil war like culture has now become our fate.
The plan of defeating Soviet Union in Afghanistan was a grand two fold plan; where it was to enable the United States of America to become the sole super power on one hand; it was also giving an opportunity to the Muslims, as a blessing in disguise to push forward- their plan of Pan-Islamism. The eviction of Soviet and breaking of the shackles of Central Asian muslim states like Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and there, foreseeable return to Muslim world would have made a Giant Muslim Block From Pakistan to Central Asia, Middle Eastern Arab world, Turkey and on to the far end of Muslim Maghrib to Morocco, etc.
Soviet did leave and United States became the Sole super power but what about the Pan Islamism dream? It simply got frustrated and shattered. There was no leader available on ground in Muslim world to come forward and take charge of the newly freed Muslim states of Central Asia.
General ( R) Hamid Gul happen to be there in command of ISI that it was handling the Afghan War operations. The man can not be called a hero of the Afghan war; he just happened to be there in command of a deputed Job in the given time and space. General Zia Ul Haque was at the helm of the affairs that Saudi Arabia was also brought in line. CIA knew it very well and General Zia was very appropriately disposed with, by blasting him off in the Sky.
If Pan Arabism or Pan Islamism plan were that sacred then Hamid Gul could have come forward after Zia Ul Haque and declared him self the leader to lead…on to the plan. The grounds for the operation were bare empty.
He did not do it; rather the opportunist Osama Bin Laden came forward. This stooge with his ill aimed designs could not do any thing except getting tightened the snooze around the remaining Muslim world. Dreaming about Pan Islamism? No way, even the remnant of Islam what ever is left has also been put on stake. There is nothing other than misery, anarchy and mayhem in the illiterate- orthodox Muslim World. There is just one thing here—humiliation after humiliation.
