The role of Attorney General of Pakistan Malik Qayyum in reference against Chief Justice of Pakistan needs no words. He has been in the lime light after exposure of his alleged audio conversation in which he mentioned that the upcoming elections will be rigged. I shall not go into detail story as many of my co-writers have already mentioned this very rightly, but want to mentioned an authentic report about him.

Just to recall he was the person who charged the government as a lawyer of the state Rs 6 Million as fee in the case against CJP.

The insider told TPS that, when he was the head of inquiry committee to probe into match fixing case of cricket players. Waseem Akram and other players were charged in match fixing. Malik Qayyum asked the players to pay him Rs 30,000,000 (thirty million) and his will discharge them from this allegation but the brave players of Pakistan Cricket Team refused to pay. Believe it, this is not a conspiracy the report is authentic.

So this chap Malik Qayyum is habitual of corrupt attitude. This might be his pre-qualifications to be the AG of Pakistan and defend government position in post election era.
