London : Difference Remained on Judges

By Salman Mugsi • May 9th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments •

Once again, the negotiations between Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan Poeople’s Party underwent amidst high tension and broken hopes and ended in sheer disappointment without any result.

At least Nawaz Sharif has lessen the agony and anguish of nation by telling that the talks remained not fruitful, unlike PPP who always cajoled with nation that they would announce a good news soon. It seems that the difference of opinion over the reinstatement of judges has not been rubbed away and it would remain there, and on 12th May PDA coalition would be sadly but aptly be dissolved.

When the coalition cannot accomplish and deliver on the core issue, then there is no point in it’s existence.

  1. its good approach to make some one wait ,nice stretegy ,optimistic approach, very humble attitude, atleast they believe that one day ,things will get automatically resolved.nawaz always spoils touring .yes i agree that coalition should not exist ,if it cant even solve this issue ,which is our bread and butter ,it should simply dissolve ,people are planning suicide because of this ,this wheat ,rice ,electricity and upcomings ,these are all retaliation of nation so to take revenge for not restoring judiciary .

  2. Magsi Sahib, everytime PPP promised “that they would announce of a good news soon”. I anticipated that Nawaz Sharif has decided to show his remorse and repentance, for what happend to the judiciary during his rule in November 1997, by deciding to go in retirement from politics. Since someone with such a burden of guilt can’t really justify his stay in public life under any pretense.

The “agony” and “anguish” of nation can only be lessend by government’s active and visible efforts in solving the problems of poverty, education, jobs etc. If our government can take care of our problems, then collapse of PDA coalition would not be such a sad experience and people at large would hardly care if good policies are made by the PDA coalition or some other coalition.
