London Conference: Prospects and Apprehensions

With apprehensions coupled with hope the London conference may not be a milestone but it can be marked as stepping stone. The approach of reconciliation should be accompanied by reintegration of former militants in the main-stream. Also it is rather dubious to assume that the allied forces are tired of an aimless battle I think it’s true for both sides. Sadly there aren’t any victories in war there are at best only a few lessons learnt.
The London concept present the prospects of peace and uncertainty, the dynamics are different of Pakistan and Afghanistan as Pakistan needs to continue this cleanup operation and include the those elements who wish to participate in the existing system of governance.
