lets live!

A famous old dead playwright once wrote,”Comedy is nothing, but tragedy differed”.

Please dont mind my indifference;to the local news of judges (un)restored,or staying at their present creace,as i dont want to indulge in something i cannot change.

As for my comedy,i dont keep track of my jokes.

I,along with many other wise cracks often wonder, mostly with awe, that with so much in common between us and the neighbor India, why are we so far behind than ,in every walk of life?and as i kept on wondering it came to me,
EUREKA!I found it!
Not that i was in a tub or anything.

there is not much difference between us and the difference is only of the mental attitude to life.Let me simplify the term to the layman;
POSITIVITY
That is what they have towards everything in life in general,and we have the exact opposite;again for the layman;
NEGATIVITY
As to what we have towards everything in life in general.

Not that we are to be blamed for it,BUT if you cannot make the situation any better, you have no right whatsoever to complain. As in my experience, grumpy old men always become a liability.

So lets stop complaining about the restoration of judges, about the elections being delayed, about the lawyer’s movement, about what is Hilary Clinton saying (etc),and talk about real issues like wheat, food and electricity.

For (it was Roosevelt…i think)who said;”Dont ask what your country can do for you,ask what you can do for ur country”.

Lets start in a positive manner, this morning, like i did just now;and lets start this day like just being positive…
I’ll buck you up like Churchill did, way back in the world wars.
“…Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terrors, victory no matter how hard and long the road maybe…for without victory…there is no survival!”
For the UNITY that will strengthen us.
I hope
-peace.

  1. fzuberi, you might like following correction:

No, it was not President Roosevelt. It was President John F. Kennedy who wrote and used this famous phrase during his inauguration speech in January 1961, “Ask not what your county can do for you ask what you can do for your country.”

By the way there were two Presidents Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt (a Republican) and then there was Franklin D. Roosevelt (a Democrat). Theodore Roosevelt was the 5th president and Franklin was 32nd president of the USA.

  2. MR alam i am very grateful for correcting me and thank u for reading my article.

  3. It is my pleasure to read your articles and it is also my pleasure if, you find, the corrections are of some value. You are more than welcome. It is a source of inspiration to see people like yourself being so devoted and enthusiastic in matters of public interest. It gives the much needed hope that all is not lost - public awareness is the first step and speaking up and being counted is the next step in the right direction, rest will follow.

    Kindest.

  4. fzuberi ,thumbsup, right dicatation man ,right time right place ,need of time .continue effort buddy ,

  5. “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”
    John Wooden.
That is what happens with most of us. Things that we cannot change are interfering in what we can do or change. Very Nice Post indeed. Keep it up.

  6. Aftab Alam, a moral-less, shameless agent of ISI, should fear the day when Allah the great brings justice to his house and punishes his mom as well as the three armed thugs responsible for his birth. Aftab himself can not be fixed. Abused by his own family members when he was a little poodle, this castrated excuse of a guy is now a walking zombie spitting abuses at everyone who speaks up for Pakistan. I am starting a fund for him, a fund that allows this bitch to get treatment. Please contribute who heartedly. If we can get him enough money he will stop working for the intelligence agencies in his anti Pakistan activities.

  7. The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. — Alvin Toffler

  8. fzuberi, sorry I made an inadvertant error, please be informed that Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the USA and not what I stated by mistake. Sorry.

  9. Mr. Alam,
    Thanks again..

I am grateful that you read my article and considered it important enough to comment on…
and for correcting me…so very nice of you

To Err is Human; to forgive Divine…

Is quite alright my man, again I am touched by your insistence for correction…

    For Unity

    -peace
