Kya Hoa Tera Wada ???
By Dr. Hassan Isfahani • Jul 2nd, 2008 • Category: Politics, Worth A Second Look • 5 Comments •On the fourth day of the operation in the Khyber Agency, empty residences and so-called central structures of the three banned outfits of Lashkar-e-Islam, Ansar-ul-Islam and Tanzeem Amar Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munqar are under perpetual shelling of the security forces, and the escapted militants are now threatening for the retaliation and all the peace processes have been suspended, while dismantling of the Marakiz of the Lashkar-i-lslam of Mangal Bagh, the Ansar-ul-lslam of Mahboob-ul-Haque and the group headed by Haji Namdar is still an elusive dream.
That operation, and the storm of price hike throughout the country has made the people bitter to the maximum, and the tone of the people has become very harsh when they talk about the new government and it’s policies. There is no austerity whatsoever on the part of government, and all the ministers including the Prime Minister and the real Prime Minister Asif Ali Zardari are living like emperors and already corruption tales of some ministers have become the talk of the street, while the nation suffers in silence through the massive increase in the prices of everything.
After dropping the bomb shell of increasing the prices of petroleum products, now government has also increased the prices of gas to 31 per cent, and the prices of Compressed Natural Gas have also gone through the roof. This would directly hit the middle class and lower middle class families, who thankfully converted their small vehicles to CNG as they were unable to afford the Petrol and Diesel couple of years ago, and now as CNG approaches to the price of Diesel, they are numb in misery and frustration.
Even though domestic consumers of the natural gas using between 50 and 200 cubic metres of gas have been exempted from the latest hike, tandoor-shop owners placed in the domestic category to avoid prices of ‘roti’ going up and independent power producers exempted to save power consumers from a further hike, but the truth of the matter is that when the price of CNG fuel would go up, everything would automatically shoot up. That would directly put the one of the last nails in the coffins of the nation which is now at the verge of either suicide or explosion.
Remember the slogans and tall claims of the same PPP ministers about Roti, Kapra and Makan, and their lofty promises of converting the country into paradise with the swing of their Jiya Bhutto Wand. But these Jayalas haven’t shown compassion with the common people who voted them in. They have forgotten the hardships of the people, who cannot afford to even feed their toddles and cannot educate their children. They promised the 100 day program, and now they advise nation to get prepared for 100 months of sacrifices, while they themselves relish the pleasures of power and rule.

July 1, 2008
Prime Minister of Pakistan
President Of Pakistan
Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party
Federal Finance Minister
Dear Sirs
Thank you so much for increasing the prices of petroleum products, after the shortage of edible commodities this
increase is like a cold breeze in hot summer, specially your new gift to the nation at the start of the fiscal year 2008-
09 by increasing the CNG prices to 31%, we as a nation sincerely appreciate your efforts to support us.
Dear Sirs, we further suggest the following measures to be taken in the broader interest of the nation as soon as
possible, the way the nation is enjoying the following benefits, is not the right of this nation and it also hurt your
efforts for the stability of economy.
Your kind attention to the following will help to strengthen the economy of the country;
- Breathing - The tax may please be imposed on breathing.
- Eating - The tax may please be imposed on the eating 2 meals a day, (Because of the strong economy
now the nation do not afford to eat 3 meals).
- Drinking of Water - The tax may please be imposed on drinking more than 2 glasses daily,
additionally taking bath more than once a month should be Taxed
- Clothing – Wearing Cloths may please be taxable and additional tax on changing the suits/shirts on
daily basis.
- Travelling - Journey through the public transport should be allowed once a day, means if someone
comes to work by bus/rail he should not be allowed to use the same for going back, when the nation will
start to walk back to homes it will help to keep them healthy.
- Birth – Tax may please be imposed on the birth of every child, the tax should be the 10% of the
monthly wage rate of the father and if the mother is a working woman, she will also have to pay 10% of
her wage, it is also suggested that this tax should be increased 20% to 30% on every additional birth.
- Death – A death tax may please be imposed on every person who dies, an additional tax is also
suggested to the suicidal or accidental death.
There are so many other items that are still identifiable and we will try to let you know as soon as we realize the
taxability of those.
Now at the end we recommend to award “Nishan-e-Haider”, “Tamgha-e-Khidmat” to the former Prime Minister
of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz and his team for the efforts they made to revive the dying economy of Pakistan.
An increase of 100% in the packages of Members of Assemblies / Ministers and other officials is also suggested, it
will help them to serve the nation better, after all we have to take care of the interests of the nation.
Thanking you in advance
Pakistani Nation

Karachi
Sindh Assembly members and ministers through a resolution on Monday demanded more perks and privileges including cars, offices, staff, telephones, computers, laptops and official passports for the whole family.
Monday was the last day of the budget session and members from both opposition and treasury benches demanded in one voice for perks and privileges and the house carried a resolution unanimously, demanding the provincial government to ask the federal government to provide official passports for MPAs and their family members.
The resolution for official passports was moved by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) member Dr Sikandar Mundrio and after discussion the resolution was amended and the word ‘family’ was included in the resolution.
The members from both sides spoke for more then 20 minutes on the issue as the last item of the day after the chair granted the permission.
However, the issue of increase of price of wheat flour could not be discussed in the house despite the fact that an opposition MPA drew the attention of the speaker towards the issue saying that the flour was sold in the market at Rs30 per kg on Monday and the price of 100kg bag of flour was available at Rs2,700 to 2,800 and nobody was taking notice of the issue.
The opposition MPA said it was a conspiracy against the PPP-led government who had come into power with the slogan of “Roti, Kapra oar Makan”.No other member talked on the issue and the government opted to ignore the issue.
Later, Sindh Transport Minister Akhtar Jadoon raised the issue of facilities to MPAs as last item of the agenda saying that official cars have been provided to town and Taluka Nazims and demanded that cars should also be provided to MPAs as they are elected representative.
Speaker Nisar Khuhro replied in a lighter mood and said members should also demand computers and even laptops. Sindh Minister Rafiq Engineer pointed out that office, phone and staff was provided to members in the House of Commons in the UK.
Leader of opposition, Jam Madad, also demanded that an office should also be provided to the leader of opposition while the MQM minister Faisal Sabzwari supported Jam Madad and suggested that apart from the provision of offices for MPAs in the new assembly building a laptop be provided to each member.
He demanded that medical facilities also be provided to parents of MPAs. Information Minister Shazia Marri demanded that official passports be provided to parents, as according to her, they all were there (in the assembly) owing to their parents.
Some ministers and members pointed out that only spouse and children are entitled for perks and opposition’s Arif Jatoi pointed out that under the rules and business of the interior ministry, only wife and children are entitled for the perks and privileges.
Food Minister Nadir Magsi suggested that official passports be provided to ‘wives’ and children and Shazia Marri insisted that parents should also be included. Later, the resolution was amended and the world ‘family’ was included in the resolution before being carried unanimously.

Great great great….
Its a slap on those faces who said… we don’t have to solve Judges and law and order situation…we were given votes for Roti, Kapra aur makkan…. Where is that Roti, forget right now kapra aur makkan? 100 days passed, as Shoukat Aziz passed. but not a single revolutionary step has been taken by this PPP. They have appointed all non political or pro mushi group people as ministers and secretaries… keeping all old filth in their government…. how we can expect change from those who are ruling from last 8 years and eating us.
We need change… Even it tilts toward bloody revolution. Atleast Nation will salute those who will be killed in revolution instead of seleting suicide.
So much for the change……..
