The Pakistani Spectator

The truth is that the rulers are incapable of resolving people’s issues because they themselves are a problem for the country. Pakistan’s bad luck is that those are the most corrupt, incapable and inept of the lot, are at the top and control the reigns of the affairs. That is the curse for the Pakistan that we are ruled by those who are not even suitable to govern a household, sadly enough.

We had one Benazir Bhutto, a born and polished and cultivated leader who came back for us in the most of the restive times, when a dictator was ripping apart the integrity of the country and when the terrorism was barking like hell and when Pakistan was at the brink of disaster and then she was assassinated by the forces of darkness. Then her party got the government as perhaps Khoon-baha, and now almost three years have passed and still we dont know who killed our leader.

President Asif Ali Zardari is accused of siphoning off Rs144 billion while PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif has amassed wealth of 3 billion dollars outside country. There is no other option for a poor than to pay tax when people like Nawaz Sharif pay a meagre amount of Rs 5000 as tax. Chaudhry brothers have become richest of the country. People like Altaf Hussain are enjoying in London and there are imposters like Imran Khan, Asfand Yar, Fazlur, and  other small time crooks are also there to bake egg on our belly.

We need to get rid all of them. Period.
