Keep Going PML (N)
By Ali Yar Khan • Aug 29th, 2008 • Category: Politics • 22 Comments •The march towards the free judiciary which is the only guarantee of the survival of this fabulous country will go on and the lucky PML-N is the chosen one to keep the flame ablaze for this unprecedented struggle, and they must carry it on, come what may; hell or brimstone, fire or floods.
Posterity would salute PML(N) for their unflinching stance on the supremacy of constitution and the integrity for the law and we would be able to look into the eyes of our grand sons and grand daughters and would see the gratefulness as they would be living in a just and fairer Pakistan under the vigil of ever-awakened active judiciary.

PML(N) is being tested by friends and foes. They have been made to quit government just because some men and women wanted to follow the agenda which wouldn’t be possible under the presence of a free judiciary. They have been made to be in the opposition benches, because they have raised the voice for the man who had said No to the dictator of the time. They have been isolated just because they refuse to follow the legacy of the Musharraf and his acolytes. PML-N didn’t get NRO and they weren’t patched up with ever-present-rulers like MQM and JUI-F because they were the one who defied the West once by detonating the nuclear bombs which still guarantee our safety and security from outsite.
To ensure our safety and security from within, we need the free judiciary bomb.

yes i agree but this keep going by tubman was to his country fellow man and his nation.here in pakistan if we continue keep going it will end up in police encounter .
Well i think for this particular act of movement ,aftab has a very conclusive and prediction based warning.
Keep going PML(N), for this act of yours i completely support you. Restoration of judiciary is important for Pakistan, although there are more important issues other than this like inflation, electricity, unemployment etc but our government is not capable of solving these basic problems. So in this case if anyone stands up for even a not-so-important problem,i think we should welcome that ‘cuz agree or not the restoration of judiciary is a matter which should be solved immediately as it is harming the image of pakistan.
kiran .me too with you
The concept of political freedom is very closely allied with the concepts of civil liberties and individual rights. Most democratic societies are professedly characterized by various freedoms which are afforded the legal protection of the state.
Various groups along the political spectrum naturally differ on what they believe constitutes “true” political freedom.
Friedrich Hayek famously noted “liberty” and “freedom” have probably been the most abused words in recent history today.
The essence of political freedom is the absence of coercion of one man by his fellow men. The fundamental danger to political freedom is the concentration of power. The existence of a large measure of power in the hands of a relatively few individuals enables them to use it to coerce their fellow men. Preservation of freedom requires either the elimination of power where that is possible or its dispersal where it cannot be eliminated. Freedom in politics is generally used as a governing tool: “For what we call freedom is given only to those who obey, it is then when you stand for what you believe and fight back against oppression you lose those freedoms, and when what is taken away should be your inalienable rights what choice does one have but to obey?”
Imran, good to see you here again. Let me tell you, you are one of those people who have been endowed with a rare ability to make people laugh, nice that there are some jokers around. I am impressed by your perenial buffoonery !
Kiran, I have to agree with you again. It is so true, we must support any party or politicians who stand for a cause worth standing. Sure, free and just judiciary is a must and fighting for its establishment is a great cause, but must we be so oblivious to the fact that PML-Nawaz are the same people who did everything contrary to the dispensation of justice. Principles can’t be and molded according to the whims of an individual, any individual; and no one must be supported in his attempt to mutilate the facts. It is, once bitten, twice shy, I guess. Actually, they have bitten twice already!
Dr. Raza Haider, good reminder, “….. if we continue keep going it will end up in police encounter .” PML - Nawaz is expert in this technique (Der Fuehrer has, personally, been inspired by this technique from third rate Bollywood criminal movies) there were many political murders in the so called ‘police encounters’. Many many political workers and activitist were liquidated while in state ‘custody’.
Saeed Khan Sahib, great and philosophical, it would be nice if you wrote a ‘post’. We will benefit from your genius (don’t worry about Darkder Imran - he likes making fool of himself !). So, please put an together and post it and I will be grateful.
I have two questions, if someone is a killer, then suddenly he starts saying that killing a human is a very disgusting act and starts protesting against other killers, Now:
1) Should we forgive him even knowing that he was a well known killer and killed several men in the past?
2) If we forgive him (which ofcourse is a wrong option to choose), what is the guarantee that he will not change his mind again and will not support other killers in future?
A very specific question:
- If suppose for a moment, Zardari says that he looted the country’s wealth in the past, but now he is ready to repent, will never do it again, and will never allow anyone burgling the nation’s wealth in the future, however, he is not ready to return back the money, shouldn’t he be the President of Pakistan?
PLS. Look below the memories from the past of and analyze yourself the hypocrisy of our great poltician and man of principle and champion of democracy/constitution Mr. IMRAN KHAN (CRICKETER TURNED POLITICIAN). I will rank him NO. 2 MUNAFIQ AZAM (AS NO. 1 STOOD AS QAZI HUSSAIN AHMED ALWAYS).
Imran for extra-constitutional move to oust Nawaz
Friday, August 29, 2008
Karachi, August 29, 1998
After leading a rally in the city, chief of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI), Imran Khan said on Friday that in an attempt to save his shattered rule over the country, Nawaz Sharif is now trying to fool the masses in the name of Shariat.
Comprising thousands of people in over a hundred vehicles, the rally originated from Arambagh and after marching through the busiest Burns Road, M.A. Jinnah Road, Empress Market and Abdullah Haroon Road culminated at the Karachi Press Club. The participants of the rally were chanting anti-Nawaz slogan – Na Manzoor Na Manzoor – Nawaz Sharif Na Manzoor … Girti Hui Dewaron Ko Ek Dhakka Aur Do … Loot Khasoot Ke Raj Ko Badlo – Chehray Nehin Samaj Ko Badlo. Besides people from other walks of life, a large number of workers of various industrial units and activists of different labour unions participated in the rally holding banners and PTI flags while dozens of women kept marching ahead of the vehicles.
Addressing the crowd at the KPC, Imran said that the Shariat, Nawaz is trying to bring in the country is not the Shariat brought by Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) but that will be ‘Nawaz Bachao Shariat’ as his rule over the country is in doldrums. He said that similar attempts to save the government was made by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto when he had declared Friday as off day, ban on liquor and gambling but all his efforts went in vain as the people were enraged and their faith in Bhutto was shattered.
The PTI chief said that the masses want the real system of Shariat, which assures all due rights of the people and provides them justice.

Mustafa,
Ans 1. Killers are not to be forgiven in any case. When there is no forvigiving for killers in Islam, why should and how could we forgive such an insane man.
Ans 2. There is no guarantee that he wont repeat this act of his. Woh kehte hain na chor chori se jaye heera pheri se na jaye. If that killer finds any person as a threat, he would definitely not think even twice and will come back to his track.
Ans 3. No, not at all. We want our president to have a clean background. We already have a prime minister who has ‘andar ka experience’ and we dont want a president to be like him.
Ref # 10
Mustafa, no he should not be president or PM or even allowed any role in matters the state. Zardari has no credibility what so ever. Same holds for the other rascal Nawaz. They both have plundered the wealth of this poor nation and they know this and we know this. There are 170 million Pakistanis and if we are so unfortunate that only 1 in a million is honest, competent, sincere, and willing to administer the office of the president and prime minister, then we must have at the least 170 good people of solid character to do the job. Then why are we hooked on them, ask me!
Having said the above. Question then to take sides. I will prefer a robber who robbs and lets me live over the one who robbs me and murders me as well. You get my point?
Thanks Kiran and Aftab, I have got your point.
That was the point I want other people to understand. Zardari and Nawaz both are not angels. They both committed serious crimes and now both are trying to pretend to be innocent. Look at their faces during any public address. Just like a little cat with big eyes.
I don’t know what kind of democratic system is this? When will our nation start learning lessons from our past, from our experiences? I seriously doubt we deserve a democratic system. Anyway, it is democracy and I hope that one day we will see the representation of some devoted and competent people in our parliaments.
The reason why I put that question is that our ‘beloved’ CJ once took oath under PCO. He, alongwith other judges of the Supreme Court, took some biased decisions, against a number of people.
Now he is acting like he has done nothing. He is same as Nawaz and Zardari. He is considering himself clean like a newly born and wants us to think same about him. Many of us have been caught in the trap put against us by him and his ally, Aitzaz Ahsan, who himself has the history of disclosing very confidential information of Pakistan to our enemy.
I pray, with the deepness of my heart that May Allah gives us wisdom that would eventually enable us to take wise decisions.
Mustafa, i agree with you for most of the part but i would like to say one thing about chief justice. He took notice of the steel mill issue. You know steel mill contributes greatly to the GDP of Pakistan and it owners sold it for a minor amount. CJ took notice of it and declared that steel mill can never be sold for any price. He also took notice of the interference of “outsiders” in our political matters. And if he gets back in the office all of zardari’s cases will be re-opened, which is why no progress has been made by this new government on his restoration. So, he is not that bad after all he tried to solve the matters personally and it was a good try.
KIRAN
OK so now you are saying that since he has started doing good (and Allah knows better why he did that) he should be forgiven for every bad act he committed earlier?
By the way, my family personally knows this person, and we know how much corrupt wasthis person in the past. Although I will not write it here as nobody will believe me but I doubt his integrity even in the SM case.
One more event. In mid 90’s one of his very close colleagues, Mr. XXXXXX was one of the court judges in Karachi. One of my neighbours had a case in his court pending and he gave Mr. XXXXXX Rs. 3,000 to dismiss the case against him.
If Mr. XXXXXX is reading this comment he will certainly remember the event as the currency notes were slipped away from his hand and ……
Anyway, I do not want to go in detail, as I am not concerned about Mr. CJ and his colleague (I cannot say anything about other judges), untill they are out of honorable courts. They are like killers in my eyes, who first killed and now standing with the innocents. Shame.
The former chief justice became an instrument of manipulators like Aitazaz and Nawaz. He got caught with his ‘pants down’ so to speak. Had President Musharraf kept quiet, all would have been fine and dandy. The chief justice should have let the references against him be filed and there was a system in place to follow it through. But, he decided to turn an agitator and sloganeer. He must thank his lucky stars that he was not dealing with Nawaz Sharif’s government - he would have been granted status of ‘martyr’ through Nawaz favourite route of “police encounter” and the world would be just as good or bad as is or was. He will never get back his office and he has the character to be paid for a job that he neither has nor doing. Simple folks call it ‘Haraam Khori’. That much about his sense of justice, he can and has digested millions at the cost of poor people in Pakistan.
Mustafa, I would have liked you to give the details. But if you opt not to, it is your choice. However, I have no illusion about chracter of all of these ’saviours’. They are all bad seeds the rotten eggs and public enemies. I had wished that President Musharraf had that so called ‘killer instict’ attributed to dictators and done this service to Pakistan and its people. Now that he is out, I am very anxiously waiting for the ‘good news’ that they all promise us everyday, I really do. The best gift they can give us the poors and the wretched of this ‘gang raped’ country will be that they systematically finish off each other and the last surviving gang should be done away with by the ordinary people. It all might sound vicious but this will happen here and hopefully very very soon.
Aftab,
Thats what I asked one of my office colleagues last year, who joined CJ’s fan club when the crisis started. I asked him, if a CJ is caught taking bribe from a person, what is the disciplinary procedure against him in the law? He was so much against Musharraf that he said noone should have the right to suspend the CJ as this office is most highly honorable. I was stunned. Sorry!
Call him TJ (the THief Justice! )
Aftab,
One of a very lower level staff (and also very old person and somewhat mentally retarded) was like ‘Lanat hai tujh pe, tujh se ache tou hum hein kachra uthatey hein lekin teri tarha nahi uthatey aur khatey’.
I wish Mr. XXXXX read the above and remember. Hehehehe
Please read ‘hum kachra uthatey hein lekin teri tarha —— nahi uthatey aur khatey’.
