Kashmala Tariq and Humayun Akhtar

Kashmala Tariq is the most popular female legislature because of her stunning looks and her outspoken and ostentatiously stylish demeanor. Kashmala Tariq appeared on the political horizon in 2002 when she was elected on a special seat on the PML-Q ticket.
The close and fast and quite discussed friendship of Kashmala Tariq with the smart, graceful and elegant Humayun Akhtar is an open secret, and they have been appearing together for quite a time now, and both support each other in black and blue, and in the recent skirmish, it is said that Kashmala Tariq has been ditched by the Chaudharies of Gujrat in their bid to outplay the Humayun Akhtar from the party to please Faisal Saleh Hayat, the new emerging leader of PML-Q.
Once upon a time, not long ago, President Pervez Musharraf also liked Kashmala Tariq very much along with the beauties like Atiqa Odho, but now he is reportedly also talks very ill of the Kashmala Tariq when he meets with the top lotas of PML-Q.
Now Humayun Akhtar is lashing out at the leadership of the PML-Q in a very bitter tone. Now, Humayun Akhtar, Riaz Fityana, Sumaira Malik and Kashmala Tariq are scheming and trying to extract more support from the cadres of PML-Q to form a forward bloc.

A lot of speculation and I can understand why some are jealous of Ms. Kashmala Tariq. Do not forget Hina R. Khar as well. I am just waiting to hear more speculation on these women. Shame on you for even making suggestions about a woman like this!
Oh please, forget about Faisal Saleh Hayat becoming the leader of PML-Q. Do you have any clue of this Faisal and his relationship with the Choudharies of Gujrat? Do not be fooled by the silence of the Choudharies; those vultures are just sitting back now, waiting to see when to attack!
Kashmala is one of Pakistani breed who always want to go for the best for herself.When mussh was in height of his power, she never missed a chance of buttering him, even she forced pmlq leadership to put mush photo in all muslim league houses along with Quaid’s photo.I dont know how but some how God has saved my country for presenting such tragic scene where quaid’s lawful status was being put equal to mush unlawful status.
Her last first class trip to US along with mush buddy Dr Ashraf for raising the broken status of mush in US circles was also opened her love for uniform.The way she was handled by audience was eye opening for all mush lovers so here she started to retreat.
Now its time of down fall of musharaf and on national scene new mini powers are coming out so she need some time to think where she would opt to regain her previliges.Hina khar and sumera malik are lucky as they have strong feudal backgrounds and icons on their back and she is roaming here and there to find her new position.

This could only happen in Pakistan. A person like Kashmala is our representative. She used to be in school with me and i fondly remember her antics even then. Years later she is sitting in the NA of Pakistan.. what shame… Now as a mother of two and happily married in the US, i look back at my country with disgust. I would assume she would have to get a huge number of votes to get elected but to my utter surprise i found out that she has been NOMINATED by the Q league… I ask of Mr Musharraf…did’nt you find a better person… oh my GOD.. anyone but not Kashmala.. ask any girl from the 1991 batch of Kinnard College Lahore and you would know the answer.. she was notoriously corrupt and abusive. A few years later i came to know that Mian Waheed a 70 year old businessman gifted her a plot in Parkview Society for services rendered. Then another politician got her nominated as an MNA.. a clear case of sleeping your way UP!!!!! Disgusting……..
Nazia, I am not a “supporter” of Kashmala Tariq. It is a shame of how innuendos are made in reference to women and that I protest to as being unwarranted. Though Kashmala does not belong to a feudal family (like Hina & Sumera), she still happens to be the daughter of Tariq Azziz a close friend of President Musharrafs. Some of you may not know that Tariq Azziz’s mother just passed away and to spread these rumors now, is just plainly evil!
No matter what type of people they maybe, attacking the women, in the manner of this article is totally unacceptable. The author of this article can present facts to the lack of qualification of these women and the reader can come to their own conclusions.
Why is no one writing of the Choudharies and others that have a longer history of corruption? I could certainly add some references to the corruption that I have witnessed but I know better when to hold my silence.
Meray Bhai Doctor Sahib, with all these fine ideas and notions, you are trying to reach people who have decided not listen to reasons, any reasons. I only feel sorry for all these ‘wannabes’ women who are motivated by their envies. I would have thought that with almost +-21% representation by the women in the National Assembly, and support of some other groups, this most important segment of our society could achieve marvelous things for themselves and for us by making Pakistan a better place. Imagine Pakistani women, all women, having access to fine education and equipped with better skills and education, than average Aftabs and Alams of this land, women like this Nazi here, or Kashmala Tariq, Sumeira Malik, Hina Rabbani Khar, Sherry Rehman, or the women who are running this show here (TPS) and many many others like them. Man imagine what would our Pakistan be in not so distant a future. How to tell them, that, there will be times for fighting etc. right now just unite and force acceptance of your rights. This is just the right time, all these feuding politicians would have to listen to this group. But!

How can anyone focus on other issues, when the hottest topic here on this site is “Internet in Pakistan”? Are people really that sex craved in Pakistan? Oh well, these topics do draw good traffic for TPS!

Meray Sahib! have you read Dr. Hans Selye, if not read his ‘The Stress of Life’ a wonderful work on stress and its management. And, of course, the Book of all books, there in we are instructed to recite the sacred names of God and for me it is such a great source of strength and courage. I try to go to Him and imagine myself bowed infront of him and call out ” Ya QAVI al AZIZ ” and He gives rejuvenates my weak mind and body and ’sharpens’ my ‘tongue’ to make people angry in the hope that there anger will induce some action and purpose into improving lives of lesser mortals (like myself) in our society. And you want this practice reenforces my hope and ambitions and dreams as well. Hope & Dreams must be there to make sense of this whole exercise. We’ll get there!
You continue to amaze me Aftab Bhai! I did not expect to encounter a Pakistani here on the Internet making reference to Dr. Hans Selye. I read “the stress of life” while I was a student in the late 70’s. Indeed, Dr. Selye was a great scholar and scientists to this day make reference to him.
May God empower you with all His blessings to reach out to people. It is great that you recognize the blessings that our Creator has given you. Not many people respect and honor this trust from God, which we call “amana” in arabic.
May I ask, what line of field is your training in? I would like to suggest some other readings to you, it all depends on your outlook. I have great deal of respect for a scholar that passed away back in the 80’s, Dr. Ismail Farooqi and another one that is still alive today, Dr. Abdulhamid Abusuliman. If you carefully read my lines then you would find that not a single moment I have attacked her as a women but surely I criticised her as a law maker and a politician too.
She was stick to Mush and Co for just getting maximum state previlages through wrong doings and many times it was seen that all rules and regulations were by passed for her as per instructions from army house and now this is one of reason pmlq party members were annoyed by her.She had changed her stanze in some weeks specially after mush had shed his unifrom and that showed her attitutde towards her personal gains.
Now something about her womanish character,she was among one of parlimentarian along with sumera malik who were selected at the time of CJP reference case.Both were requested from army house to file a complain of sexual haraseemnt from chief justice when they were pursuing some cases in courts.Sumeria malik uncle Leghari intervened in this reference as this could effect their repute in his conservative community, but really I dont know who forced her to quit form this reference.
Such kinds of working and educated women are hope for some rising society and in our culture such women who got an opportunity of reaching to top level in an early stage should show stronger attiitude then corrupt and weak men of our society.Her 180 degree turn toward mush policies specially after her US visit in Dec 2007 is annoying her party and revealed her foxy nature.As she belong to working class so its easy for devils of politics to remove her from scene and bring another yes boss character in assembly.
If you bring the data of links of women parlimentarian then you would see that most women are wives or duagters of retired army officers, or bureacrats and politicians close to mush.The number of women parlimentarian were just increased to strengthen his power in dummy assemblies as their other family members were being bestowed from other national exchequer outside of parliment.That is an old tool of a military dictator nothing new to ponder deeply on it.

I was told by this thing from a strong women MNA of pml q.This thing was hot topic in last june in women MNAs and MPAs of PML q and all know about this case very well.As I am not interested in details of Kashmala so I didnt bother but when ever I meet her again I will surely ask of exact reason of her withdrawl.

WELL, I DO APOLOGIZE IF YOU FOUND THIS SO OFFENSIVE, ACTUALLY IT WAS HONESTLY NOT MEANT TO INSULT YOURSELF OR THE OTHER WOMEN MENTIONED UP THERE. WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY WAS THAT DECENT EDUCATION EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO REPRESENT THEIR POINT OF VIEW AND IN THIS REGARD I GAVE THIS EXAMPLE OF WOMEN AND I MENTIONED YOUR NAME AS WELL (BY THE WAY IT NAMES A WOMAN CALLED NAZI!). IT WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO REFLECT ON THEIR YOUR OR ANYONE’S CHARACTERS OR ACTIVITIES, INCLINATIONS, IT WAS MORE A COMPLIMENT THAN INSULT. HOWEVER I AM SORRY. My point was that women at this point in our history, with good representation in the parliament, could force / negotiate decent reforms in the legislature to improve the condition of Pakistani women in general and thus improve the over all life, and all it entails, in Pakistan.

…altaf hussain not of MQM….according to her old entry in national assembly she is duaghter of ALTAF HUSSAIN..this time she mentioned her husband name i.e tariq rashid ..i wish that all of our nation start seein first truth rather believing on rumors ….tariq aziz is very close to musharaf …if kashmala had such great linkage …she never needed to do wht she has done in past …

Not that I wish to make an excuse, I am ignorant of most Pakistani personalities; I live in the US. My main concern was the belligerent attacks on women by the author and others.
What really surprises me is that, no one else corrected me. This shows the level of ignorance floating on the Internet.
