Joe Biden on Pakistan

By Fatima Tassaduq • Aug 23rd, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 Comments •

Joe Biden, the running mate with Barack Obama on the Democratic ticket for the job of vice president has always maintained that U.S. policy should be shifted from one focused solely on President Pervez Musharraf to one based on Pakistan as a whole. Following are some of his thoughts regarding US approach towards Pakistan:

Pakistan has strong democratic traditions and a large, moderate majority. But that moderate majority must have a voice in the system and an outlet with elections,” Biden was to say Thursday during a speech at Saint Anselm College. “If not, moderates may find that they have no choice but to make common cause with extremists, just as the Shah’s opponents did in Iran three decades ago. But unlike Iran, Pakistan already has nuclear weapons. It is hard to imagine a greater nightmare for America than the world’s second-largest Muslim nation becoming a failed state in fundamentalist hands, with an arsenal of nuclear weapons and a population larger than those of Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and North Korea combined. Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan are all linked. Far from operating in a vacuum, what we do in one place profoundly affects the others. For example, because we shifted our resources away from Afghanistan to Iraq, Musharraf concluded the Taliban would rebound and he would be better off cutting a deal with them. Now, we’re so tied down in Iraq we can’t take the pressure off him in Afghanistan. And all this talk of war with Iran only makes it harder for moderates in Pakistan and Afghanistan to cooperate with us. (Source Huffpo)

  1. The democrats are having a sale: TWO POMPOUS GAS-BAGS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! Forget the tire gauge - the dems have new energy plan: wind-power through endless hot air.

Here’s the stuff the loony-left liberal media WILL NOT TELL YOU:

Biden and hussein share many characteristics. For example, they are both so lacking in honesty and ethics they blatantly plagiarize the words of others.

The many, many plagiarized speeches of Biden have been well documented. While at Syracuse Law School, Biden plagiarized a law review article in a class paper he wrote. He has not only plagiarized Americans, but British politicians as well, such as Neil Kinnock, then-leader of the British Labour Party. He’s a true international plagiarizer. (This is what the liberal media mean when they say biden has “international experience”.)

In his mediocre law school, Biden was only able to graduate 76th in a class of 85 - i.e., he was in the lowest 10.5%! Of course, while campaigning, he claimed falsely to have graduated in the “top half” of his class. A plagiarizer and a LIAR!

hussein is so mentally deficient from extensive drug use he even has to plagiarize his hollow platitudes. (His mental deficiencies appear to rival those of Biden.) His many plagiarized speeches have also been documented, including his theft of words from a speech by Deval Patrick, from Robin WIlliams’ movie “Man of the Year”, and others. Like Biden, hussein also has been caught in many, many lies.

Yep, the character of these two is as pathetic as it gets - they deserve one another. America deserves neither.

  2. Please stop depending on others statements. Start believing in yourself. No body is sincere, if you are not sincere with yourself. Keep in mind, at the time of help..only few people stands…same is case with country. Never keep eyes on others. make yourself strong and stand on your own feet. If you are strong..every body is your friend..and if you are weak, your own leaves you at the time of need.
