Islamabad Suicide Blast at F-8 Markaz
By The Pakistani Spectator • Jul 17th, 2007 • Category: Uncategorized • 14 Comments •Islamabad just suffered 10 days of bloodbath in Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid, then the backlash was inflicted in D.I. Khan, Swat and tribal areas. Then just half an hour ago, a suicidal blast occured just outside the meeting place of chief justice, in which 13 people have been died and dozens are injured badly.
News were coming that half a dozen suicide bombers have entered in the capital and the red alert is on there, but then in evening this happened in F-8 Markaz, Islamabad. Masses are terrified and angry. If the capital isnt safe, then which place is? Where should we go?
The people who died were innocent and they had nothing to do with Lal Masjid operation or government. They were rather anti-government people who gathered to receive the man who said No to government. Who is behind this?
Its all a very grave and open and concentrated ploy to lower down the morale of people of Pakistan.
But we Pakistanis stand united and composed. Lets unite together in these crucial times, and defend the motherland and promote peace.
Government has surely failed to save us. Now it should also save it from the wrath of people who are dying in these nefarious bomb blasts across the country. The only way it could save itself from the wrath of people is to place people’s representatives on the throne, and go back to its duties.
Long Live Pakistan.

Kerta koi aur hai , bhurta koi aur hai.
Now just wait for emergency.
Chief justice first caused deaths in Karachi and now in Isb, what more he wants?
CJP is gov agent, who is conspiring with Mush to declare emergency in the country.
Chaloo dobara MQM ka nam laga do.
People are accusing CJP are crazy and should be sent to mental hospital.
Its the aftermath of Operation Silence and nothing else.
In my view the stage is being set for declaring emergency. God forbid, a blast or two anywhere else and we’ll have army all over. Declaration of emergency is in the offing, we might have something to see depending upon the decision of CJP case that is supposed to be decided on 20th.
Actions and reaction theory…
First of all, lets see that the suicide attacker hit the PPP camp. This shows the reaction of jehadists against the statement of Benazir who supported the operation against Lal Masjid. Chief Justice has nothing to do with the whole issue. Those who blame CJP for killings on May 12th in Karachi (mostly by MQM) and July 17th deaths, should think that who caused his travels across the country? You know those who acted in an arrogant way to kill the constitution and sent him home without any substantial reason. I may not be using the same harsh tone but in principle, Rahim Shah’s comments are appropriate. If CJP is spearheading a movement for supremacy of constitution and rule of Law, whats bad in it? Let me add, it is only hope which gives us little optimism otherwise the ground realities are so stark and gloomy that every sensible Pakistani is extremely frustrated over the happenings. My dear readers! Try to know from where this extremism has come? Read this please. You will understand.

The article which naeem gave to us is a real eye opener.
I echo the words of Talal. More blasts mean emergency or Marshal Law, and that means the death of whatever progress we are making.
I also share the thoughts of Naeem, that it was lesson for the ppp, in the wake of their hungry leader. and bibi and sherry were quick to capitalize on blast, and still now they are trying to cash on in it.
You see you people are dying your own death. US atleast dont need to attack Pakistan.
Boucher is silly when he demands an operation in your tribal areas. You are already doing that, and you are incompetent enough to stop fire spreading inline.
I feel ashamed when I see my countrymen use such obnoxious and not-so-matter-of-fact lingo.
I abhor any kind of violence from the roots of heart.
During my visits to TPS, I have found Pakistanis much soften then their image portrayed in US and else where.
I do support my troops, but I also do support peace, and wish that they come home.
I often think that why we in US so easily demands on attacks in non US areas. Humans also live there. Now in the tribal areas of Pakistan, humans do live. We cant just kill them like insects. Its against humanity.
Lets try diaglogue, and US should spend money to moderanize those areas, but sadly enough we have a history to first destroy and then apply cosmetics construction.

I fully support your point of view, dying are those who are also brothers of sisters, sons of parents and offcourse husbands of wifes. death of a person means death of a whole family. Our policiy makers and politicians are involved to reap their vested interests.
I think no dialogue is required every country should defend its self with its own territory, I don’t support pre-emtive strikes as it instigate others to pre-emt also.
fighting wars is not the solution those faces to be exposed who want such atmosphere all over the globe.
regards for such nice thought.

You are right. Incidents seem to be draggin us to civil war, the very thing US would like to happen to us.
