Is Secret Agreement Still There?
By Dr. Hassan Isfahani • Sep 7th, 2008 • Category: Politics • No Responses •Pakistan People’s Party was found raising hell on myriad number of occassions that there was a secret agreement between the United States and the former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf, and according to them that agreement allowed permission to the Americans to attack at will in the Pakistani territory, but just for some miles from the Afghan side, and it would be notified to Pakistani authorities privately before hand.
Throughout the Musharraf era, never American or NATO forces came and killed like they did couple of days ago in Angor Adda, North Waziristan. That, and now the drones and missiles attacks have gained momentum in the FATA region and the ethnic and sectarian violences are also being fanned. Things are getting murkier day by day, and the impression is that Pakistani security forces have failed to control their own areas, and US would have to come and take charge.
The Angor Adda attack clearly suggests that albeit, America’s tinpot dictator has gone the policies, deals and agreements still persists and we just witnessed the change of faces. The meek and lame reaction by the PPP ministers were a shocker and the statements by supine PPP officials clearly told that they knew about the attack of Americans as per agreement. All the PPP ministers are taking the pages out of their leader Zardari, who never believes in speaking truth.
