Is MQM Blackmailing PPP in Dubai?

By Salman Mugsi • Nov 6th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 8 Comments

MQM Coordination Committee members have been joined by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and MQM leader Mohammed Anwar Bhai from London to tight the screws more upon the desperate, hapless and panicked PPP.

Now President Asif Ali Zardari has asked the unelected, close acolytes to survive at their own, because now even the inner circles of the PPP have become ready to ask the co-chairman during the next CEC meeting, whenever it is held, to expel those elements who caused damage to the party.

The unelected people sorrounding Zardari are those who benefited from the National Reconciliation Ordinance, responsible for the crisis created by the Kerry-Lugar Bill and the NRO. Now the veteran PPP leaders have agreed to retain Zardari, but they are dead against the unelected people.

Now these unelected people like Rehman Malik, Wajid Shamsul Hassan and many more know that their only survival is possible if MQM decides to support them. MQM is acting tough now. They are demanding control of Karachi, Nizamat, a big chunk in interior Sindh and Punjab, more ministries in Sindh and Islamabad, and also many seats in the upcoming Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

We should be prepared to see Altaf Hussain once again making a grand shameless u-turn.

  1. Do you think PPPP can be Blakemailed being the oldest FAMILY RUN party? Do We deserve DEMOCRACY where every other person is a Choor?

  2. Salman
it looks you were sitting there for noting down minutes of meeting done between sons of Sindh in comfortable environment of Dubai.
Which side of party called you for covering this MOM?

  4. If it is between PPP and PML(N), it is charter of democracy. If it is between PPP and ANP, it is a dialogue. If it is between PML(N) and Army chief in the darkness of night it is discussion on cirtical national issues, but if it is between any party and MQM, it is blackmailing from MQM.
    What a biased thinking!!!!

  5. Today i saw a fashion show organised in karachi.I think MQM whether it is a party of goons or not has secured karachi from Taliban.
Poitics is the art of give and take as one saw in American congress about health care.Pakistan has to learn to live with democracy and its wheeling and dealing.Atleast you know now but during dictatorship you just donot know..

  6. MQM and PPP both are liberal, secular, democratic entities that have always stood for the rights of the people of Pakistan. It is only conspiracy theorists who’re trying to spread rumors. The fact remains that the MQM-PPP alliance is stronger than ever before.

    JEEAY Muttahida!
    JEEAY Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Hussain Bhai!

  7. Johanne
I think mqm sent you some SOS messages for showing you they are live and active
    .
This time gusty wind of terrorism has been blown on northern side and Karachi area is under control of establishment so no terror environment is being observed surely enemies of mqm are being eradicated by using provincial force them.If I am not wrong 700 people are victim of target killing in this year only in this city which is blindly ignored because war has been executed in our north side
This is our inner story where the force and terror is applied to eradicate the forces that rebels against army and its pawns.

  8. As is usually the case on online forums, some anti-democracy pseudo-entities - ghosts being the most appropriate term - attempt to tarnish image of a liberal political party. MQM is not only “live and active”, but it is more popular than ever before! The truth is that 2 decades of sacrifices and selfless struggle for people’s rights is bearing fruit now and by the grace of Allah Almighty, MQM is gaining unprecedented popularity even in such remote corners of the country as Gilgit-Baltistan Province and Azad Kashmir. God Willing that day is not far when MQM will form a government in the center and all provinces as well.

    Long Live MQM!
Long Live Quaid-e-Tehrik Altaf Hussain Bhai!
