Would you please tell us something about you and your site?
My name is Lester, I am currently 24 this year, studying in National University of Singapore. Majoring in Information Systems. My site http://lesterchan.net started out as one of my assignment for one of my college’s module. As time goes by, I changed it along the way and now it has become my personal site and the based for my WordPress Plugins.
Do you feel that you continue to grow in your innovation the longer you innovate? Why is that important to you?
I have to agree with it, the more you innovate, the more it will grow because of experience and past failure. Innovation will always keep you ahead of others.
I’m wondering what some of your memorable experiences are during your journey of creativity?
I can’t really recall any memorable experiences.
What do you do in order to keep up your communication with other innovators?
I am working alone on all my plugins, but I do keep in touch with my users to listen to their feedback. If there is a particular feature that is requested many times, I would consider adding it in.
What do you think is the most exciting or most innovative use of technology right now?
I would say mash-up would be the most innovation use of technology right now like Twitter and Facebook Status
Do you think that these new technologies are effective in making people more responsive?
I would say it is subjective, it still boils down to what people need, if they need need something, they will be responsive to it.
What do you think sets Your site apart from others?
My site serves no ads as I do not believe in making money from ads from my site. I want to give user a pleasant impression rather than having ads blocking and moving all over the place and just earning a few dollars out of it. I value my users more than ads.
If you could choose one characteristic you have that brought you success in life, what would it be?
I would say it is my passion and love for web development that I started out when I was young
What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?
Happiest is when I managed to get into University as my results are not very good since I was young. I am a happy go lucky guy and I don’t really remember gloomy moments.
If you could pick a travel destination, anywhere in the world, with no worries about how it’s paid for - what would your top 3 choices be?
I would say US, Japan and Taiwan
What is your favorite book and why?
I don’t really read books at all. Till now, I have not read finish a book. LOL
What’s the first thing you notice about a person (whether you know them or not)?
Their face, to see if I can recognize them or not.
Is there anyone from your past that once told you you couldn’t create?
Nope
What role can innovators of the world play to make this world more friendlier and less hostile?
Share thier ideas, be open minded.

Is there one WP Plug-in that has gotten the most powerful reaction from people?
I would not say reactions, but my most downloaded plugin is my WP-Polls
What is your perception about Pakistan and its people?
I would like to visit Pakistan at least once in my lifetime.
Have you ever become stunned by the uniqueness of any WP-Plugin, written other than you?
Ryan’s Dump Environment is a good plugin for developer that output WordPress debugging information

What is the future of Plug-in market?
I would say it would be stagnant and will not grow as fast compared to last time. I am also wondering how many more years can I continue to maintain my plugins.
What are your future plans?
I am hoping to find a job in an MNC when I graduate in end of 2009
